Thank you Margie! I purchased my basic course today and watched this video and your introductory video! I'm looking soooo forward to the course. I've been trying to get throught the Intuit Academy Basic Bookkeeping Course and I'm at the review section before taking the certificate exam. HOWEVER, I'm ready to give up!😭 I'm so tired and feel so unsure of myself. Hopefully, that'll change when I start your course 🙏🏾

I'm sorry to hear this. Please note, however, that our course is designed to help you with the ProAdvisor certification. This is different than the Intuit Academy Bookkeeper certification.

@@fasteasyqboproadvisorcerti6503 Yes! I know it's different, but I think being trained specifically in qb can be a big help to understanding what Intuit is saying in it's course. Sometimes the information doesn't seem to be structured well. So, I'm hoping getting this foundation will help fill in the cracks for me so that I can feel solid in what I know. Thanks.

@clarissa5019 she isn't saying that you should or should not get qbo certified. She is simply telling you that the course you purchased along with it's eventual product will not be that helpful specifically in your passing of the intuit bookkeeper exam...

This is possibly my fifth time watching this. 1-Works hard to get the championship. Has everything in his corner-Aaron. 2-Watches and inspires himself a lot with no true course of action-Bobby. 3-Really wants to be a track star. No tools, and all odds are stacked against him, and he has to face his challenges and still overcome what he needs to do to train. He does the work without the perfect environment and advantages. I. Yes. Assuming you can access the US version of QBOA, you can utilize the free training inside your account (ProAdvisor > Training). Many people do this.

Hi, I am confused by this transaction. If the original mistake by "clicking add" posted the line to Uncategorized Income then shouldn't the fix in above video hit Uncategorized Income?

I'm not sure you posted this question on the correct video. Did you mean this one? kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4ablqybbpeqg6s Once the Uncategorized Income transaction is added/categorized in the bank feed, the transaction needs to go somewhere, and will sit in the "Add funds to this deposit" section of the Bank Deposit transaction until it is properly categorized/fixed. The steps to fix this begin at about the 3:30 mark of that video.

I buy QBO for my bookkeeping client and I pass the entire discount to him. I created the expense and I checked the "Billable" field and assigned it to the client. I then created the invoice and added that expense to the invoice that showed up in "the drawer". I don't want this to increase my income, since I am not marking it up. Are the following steps necessary? Intuit customer service said that I need to create 2 new accounts in the Chart of Accounts (Billable Expense Income & Billable Expense). They also said that I needed to add a Product and Service and put a check mark next to "I sell this product/service to my customers." and under "Income Account" choose "Billable Expense Income". They also said that I should put a check mark next to the "I purchase this product/service from a vendor." and then choose "Billable Expense". Is that overkill or is it necessary to do all of those steps that they recommended?

Well my heart is broken. I passed sections 1,3,4 and 5, but I failed section 2 and I failed it 3 times, so now I'm locked out until September 10th. When I'm Unlocked.... do I have to take the whole entire test all over again? Or can I just retake the one that I messed up on, which is section 2.
