That motor is gonna be toast before long, really low oil pressure and even after that much running no oil up to the rocker boxes.

Pretty sure many diesel engines don't have actively lubricated rockers. I think they instead sit in the oil which is poured onto them and sealed up with a cover. Running those types of diesels a short while without the covers won't do much I don't think. At least what I understand from watching other videos

Jaja Nigeria......... Da geht das ganze Dorf mit dem Generator Hauptschalter an und wieder aus. Brauchst dich nicht wundern, das da ständig alles verreckt :-( Wie oft haben wir denen Motoren und Anlagen gestellt und nach ein paar Wochen war alles zerstört! Egal ob Ishiagu, Supare, PH, Old Netim........... Alles das gleiche Drama!!

Hallo hab den D 399 auch noch repariert, eine laufbuchse war gerissen-zehn Düsen waren defekt und der pumpenregler der in meiner Heimatstadt gebaut wurde hab ich überholt. Dann lief er sehr schön. Mfg

I just bought an engine exactly like this , looks the same but it's rated at 575HP. What did you do to get it to 800? I figure mostly injection pump work. Is it custom or using OEM CAT parts?

Zweitaktdieselmotor Maschinenfabrik Magdeburg Buckau R.Wolf Baujahr ca 1925-30 . Eigenbau einspritzpumpe und einspritzdüse Rekonstruktion der einspritzgeräte und des pleuellagers Sowie anderer defekter bzw. verlorengegangene teile dauerte ca 400 Arbeitsstunden
