@Mrgunsnroses75GT if you go NA get kooks headers and x pipe. If you go boosted go with a turbo setup. Most bolt on parts are a waste of money on this engine except heads and if you do heads do afr with cams. The tune is crucial. I recommend Bob monks in leadington mo. Owner of stl mustang headquarters.

@ it had a X pipe on n it when I got it I didn’t like the X pipe so it now has a H pipe. I live in southern Utah and I got a guy down here to help with the engine build and I haven’t decided if I’m staying NA or Supercharged I’m for sure not going turbo because I have a Diesel pickup and I drive Semi’s for a living so turbos aren’t that exciting to me. However I may in the future turbo my Escort GT that’s on my KZbin channel but for the Mustang if it’s boosted it’ll be roots style supercharged because I love the whine :). Once I get more subscribers I’ll be able to afford to do more awesome stuff like that and I’d love to more exciting stuff like that it’ll be fun for sure

Zach pickup a 35th anniversary performance red convertible with only 1800 miles on it. Not only do I have the extras such as floor mats, but have the box that Ford gave with it when purchasing such as cds, the vehicle inside the box plus key rings and etc. Now here is the amazing thing about this vehicle whoever own it put a lot of extras on it such as Koni shocks, Borla mufflers, changed rear end case, changed the H pipe taking off front catalytic converters leaving rear catalytic converters, and too top it off it has tonneau cover painted same color as vehicle and finally there’s a Vortech 1 with intercooler. As an older person I feel this is a car is driver car the way it handles. Only problem I had with car was rear cats fell apart as I was driving fortunately I was able to save Borla mufflers even though some materials got in muffler. Went with Pypes H pipe with cats and running great finally one of my children will get car once I’m done!!

I have 1995 Ford Escort LX 5-door Hatchback and I need to remove the front two door panels to replace the 30 year old factory door speakers. Assuming this is close to (if not exactly) the same process. Where did you get the door panel clip remover?
@Mrgunsnroses75GT5 ай бұрын
@christmode3649 It’ll be exactly the same and the door panel removal tool is in the description and it’s called 3 piece interior trim tool on Amazon
@christmode36495 ай бұрын
I guess I should have listened to you say that the tools needed are in the description below. I scheduled an appointment with a car audio shop to take my front two door panels off and replace the 30 year old factory speakers. I suspect that it's gonna cost around $200 for them to remove the door panels and replace the speakers. I am tempted to buy the tools needed, and try to do it myself. I use to do this sort of stuff all the time, but I have become disabled, so now I get to over pay a car audio shop to have it done. It looks simple enough, but I'm hesitant to try and do it myself. The car is 30 years old and this will be the first time that the door panels have ever been removed. I have trust issues about the guys at the shop, ripping off the door panels and breaking something, but then again, I could break something as well. I could probably do it myself, but I may just opt to let them do it. The car is probably older than most of the audio technicians at the shop. It's a real nice car, and it only has 62,000 actual miles on it, so I want it done the right way. I want ALL my door panel clips back where they go. Do you think I should spend $20-$30, and buy the tools and do it myself, or just bite the bullet and pay the audio shop to have it done?

@@christmode3649 what location do you live? I could help you if you’re close where I live, And that’s awesome and I’m the same way, that’s why I work on my cars myself, and if it were me I’d buy the tools myself and do it, but it comes down to do you feel comfortable and confident enough to do it yourself. If you do it yourself just be careful and take your time but if you can’t then have a shop do it but make sure they know what they’re doing
