Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your channel. Do like the briefness of each show, it focuses one point which allows me to ponder your idea thru out the day. Thank you

Another great video. I learned while working in finance that its not your income but your outgoings that determine your wealth and security.

Yes, can't agree more, in sports terms, offense vs defense, no good getting 100 points, if your letting in 130 points

Thank you for commenting, its always a struggle, usually ending up too far one way or the other, over time we learn to find the middle ground

This is my approach to minimalism, decluttering, and buying less. Whatever item I have in my home is completely used up and then I decide if it needs replacing or not.
@ProfitPassport10 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your approach! It's always inspiring to hear how others embrace minimalism.

I already incorporate all the recommendations you mentioned and everyone I know is aware that I live this way. However, no one I know has started doing any of these things and I find it very discouraging to see their lack of interest in doing anything to save the planet.
@Carole61617 күн бұрын
I have already decluttered my clothes and I am left with a currated closet of clothes I wear all the time. If an item of clothing was completely worn out and had to be replaced, I would buy 2nd hand. There are many options for buying "preloved clothes". I would NEVER buy a new item that had just been manufactured.

Many times the store brand is made in the same factory as the Name Brand. I always buy store brands.

I live this type of lifestyle and it makes me sad that I know no one else who does this. I have always been frugal and living this way seems natural to me. If everyone would do this we would have a chance of saving the planet.

One In, One Out doesn't reduce the number of items one owns, it simply doesn't increase it. It seems like One In, One Out should be enacted AFTER one declutters as a way to stay decluttered.
@ProfitPassportАй бұрын
Thank you for your feedback, 1 in and 1 out may not declutter as fast as other methods, it will get the mind thinking about need vs want, 1 in and 2 out would declutter faster, however, that is a hard psychological barrier to start with

Thrifting is definitely an aspect of living frugally! We thrift quite a bit and it saves so much money in our clothing budget. This is a good video, especially when it brings up spending and living mindfully.

I think it’s really important to try to minimize waste and appreciate your post. Unfortunately the buy in bulk stores I’ve seen are extremely expensive.

Thanks! I love buying in bulk from my local store, especially spices. I bring my own clean containers & can buy the smallest amount for a recipe 💚

Great video. Doing a no spend January helped me clearly define the difference between a need and a want. I saved more in 1 month on a low income than I saved in a whole year last year! So onto Frugal February I go! Putting your savings in a glass jar helps so every time u say no to a takeaway etc, u can see your savings building up.

I grew up in the restaurant business but now I rarely dine out. After fine tuning my diet during the shut downs I realized how much BS filler carbs all restaurants stuff in their dishes. Ad to that learning of the red pill I no longer feel the need to flex on women by spending stupid money at stupidly expensive restaurants with only a average chance to get laid!

Its the difference like a neighbor who spends a lot of money on having her lawn mowed by a company and having a younger neighbor boy who doesn't need a whole lot because he lives at home yet.

The older a person is, the more expenses they have. He needs money for medical expenses because he is sick. He cannot live in a teeny house because it is not comfortable for him to move around the small house in a wheelchair. He needs a carer. And other things. It is easy for a person to save money while he is young. An older person has to spend more money.
