There was a piece of foam insulation to the back left of the roof close to the trunk hinge. I took it out and cut the shape the model box and add it there

Hello, can someone help me please? I have a 2006 Lancer Ralliart and the transmission sounds a lot. I went to many junk cars and I only got a 4th generation eclipse with the same 4g69 engine. Will the transmission work for my Lancer Ralliart? I checked the code and the one on the eclipse starts with KF5M422V5P and the one on my lancer starts with F5M422R795. Will it work for you?

Yes! Its even an upgrade since the eclipse has longer gears

I'm surely following you during this story and glad you came back after that long trip! Just got a 2006 Mitsubishi lancer ES (very similar to yours) from a passing family member a couple months ago and this is definitely helping me figure out what I should upgrade. It runs really well but it is cosmetically worn. So far, I did a full repolish and waxing of the exterior and restoration of the leadlights since it was in the Florida sun, down the road of Daytona beach, for over 6 years. I replaced the interior dome lights and did a half-ass detail of the interior, replaced the old AM/FM antenna for a shark fin antenna, installed window visors and surprisingly the exact same embroidered seatbelt cover set as you have right now. I hadn't replaced any of the fluids just yet but will be doing that very very soon. Earlier today I bought some premium $70 9007/HB5 LED bulbs to Upgrade the old Halogen bulbs so we'll see how that goes. Next upgrades I plan on going for are a custom leather seat cushion and custom floor mats, fully tinted windows, upgrading the wheel rims, double DIN stereo(I'm trying to hold off a little bit since I don't know shit about the installation process and wiring, lol), upgraded speakers with room for a subwoofer later down the road and a rear view camera system. I really want to repaint the whole car from that ugly maroon to a dark silver but it's too much work and expensive asf😪. Sorry for the article, lol.
