Because they used to have their staples (Sara Mearns, Ashley Bouder and Teresa Reichlen) for this ballet; but then, Lauren Lovett, Megan Fairchild and Tiler got the rare opportunity of also doing it during 2019-2020 season

This asshole violated the intimacy of his own girlfriend he took photos of her while she was naked without her allowing it to and shared with all his friends at the NYC Ballet, including other members of the institution. He should not be a 1st dancer, in fact he should be fired. The @ movement is not just for hollywood ! Is a world statement and should be taken seriously. He's literally making thousands of $ a year while his poor ex is suing him and his friends for what they did to her. F++++ you Chase Finlay !

Tiler Peck is such an amazing dancer. She attacked this clip. When you hear her interviews and look at her natural mannerisms she screams femininity in such an innocent almost shy manner, but watching this clip she takes this role and totally kills it. She's seductive, strong, and just completely takes this to a dark place. Her technique and artistry are perfect. This is by far my favorite clip of the "Black Swan" she just takes my breath away☆

@@ktw70 Yo, genius. I responded to a comment about the talentless Copeland . If you're so imbecilic you can't see that Copeland is mediocre enough that she should barely ever even have made soloist at a medium-sized ballet company, you really are wasting everyone's time by showing your ignorance publicly. I can name you twenty Black ballerinas who were all vastly superior to Copeland, and that's without thinking about it. Here's a start for you (you'll have to look them all up, having heard of none of them, of course.) Lauren Anderson, Debra Austin, Lorraine Graves, Stephanie Dabney, Lydia Abarca, Virginia Johnson, Alicia Graf Mack....and those are only some of the retired greats, to say nothing of Black dancers now. You have nothing but idiot cliches and drivel. Take the L, loser!
