Ecclestone is still the GOAT. He and Rose are the best TARDIS team. As an individual, I like Clara more than Rose, but in terms of chemistry with the Doctor, she had too little time with Smith and Capaldi wasn't good enough. If Clara and Hurt had done Series 8 and 9, Ecclestone and Rose would have been dethroned.

Colin's abrasive nature has such an unexpected energy to it, and when he did soften, it was truly a whirlwind of fun. The entire scene after the TARDIS turned into the organ lives rent free in my head, especially because of the harpsichord in the background. One of my favourite Classic incarnations, and Trial of a Timelord remains one of my top three favourite episodes across the entire run of the show.
