The first game was good. A little cheesy on the story, but overall fun. The second game was better in terms of gameplay and story. The third game pretty much had the same game (for the most part) from the second, but I think the third game had the overall best story. The forth game (cannon or not) probably had the worst story, despite having an interesting idea with time traveling, but the game was still really good, and it’s no doubt the best looking game in the series. Hopefully we’ll get a new Sly game in the future, whether it continues the forth game’s story or not, I don’t really care. I just would love to have a new Sly game for new generations

Well indeed its true, the 3rd one is the best of the saga, Thieves in Time most people hate it cause the plot twist with Penelope... In the end for me 2, 3 and 4 are excellent

@@ProjectEBM awesome! I too hated the Penelope twist, but that wasn’t the only thing I disliked about the story. I also didn’t like Sly’s explanation to going back to thievery. It if was something like Bentley needing his help or something like Carmelita was kidnapped or something like that, I would’ve understood it better, but just to have him say “as time went on, the old itch came back, and I knew I needed to pull a heist” that just didn’t seem like Sly to me at all.

@@kimlechman5856 Well that part i have mix feeling cause both Sly and Carmelita love the chase, you know she trying to catch him and he being chased. On the other part being separated that way after admiting "lying eachother" to being together... In part i´m glad that Penelope started plot cause the 5th part will be a titanic event

It sucks to hear this, however, the majority of the player base is on PC and the latest gen consoles, with the new engine upgrade its gonna demand new minimum requirements for said hardware.

i genuinely love how in the thumbnail its all the sly 4 versions of the gang EXCEPT for penelope because that version doesnt deserve to see the light of day. a member of the team that actually deserved to be in the gang and they threw her into the plot pit where her memory was also conveniently rewritten. "we couldve made BILLIONS in weapon design" sly literally gave you guys the vault, calm down penelope, its not that deep. but the betrayal was.

I purchased my first Dreamcast the other day. Funny thing it arrived at my house on 11/27/2023. When I turned it on it asked me to enter the date, I noticed it said 11/27/1998. Its pretty neat that I recieved my first Saga Dreamcast on the day of release 25 years later.

I still got my PlayStation 3 and it’s still an awesome consul. There is only two extreme soy games there are only three extremely soy Gagens on it and the rest of the other video games are soy free

This would be more a theory but, as the videogame market is collapsing (see Gamepass, PlayStation Plus new prices increase and 70$ game prices for this generation) Unity is trying to reduce the cost and as the engine is not very popular (you can see more Unreal or Godot engine users and Unity was used mostly by small and indie developers)

Dimitri remained loyal to Sly, Bentley, and Murray after the 3rd game. Penelope, on the other hand, chose not to by being on Le Paradox's side.

Maybe if a lot of people play NON STOP the games available on PS+ and possibly if the 4 games goes live to play on Playstation Store for PS4 and a lot of people buy it, maybe we will have the 5th game because supposed sony the 4th game didnt sell well enough
