I don't think if the Amtrak cars have a rear window as they are connected. Maybe, one can get such a view only in the last car as there's nothing behind it. But I'm not sure.

Where accepted, two checked bags (75 linear inch, 50 lb.) per passenger. See all baggage guidelines and if your station accepts checked baggage. As per the Amtrak website, on this route checked baggage service is available at NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC.

I went from ncl to bkk via dubai in December the 777 from ncl then airbus 380 from dubai to bkk aircraft 380 but there was absolutely no live map or tv program so there was no news at all from bkk to dubai from dubai to Newcastle flight was amazing 🎉

Had a day-time flight booked for Sydney through to Hong Kong on the A380, seats carefully chosen. But our connecting flight from Wellington was diverted due to a medical emergency on board. Qantas did a great job, got us on their next flight to HK, only about 5 hours later. It was a 777 and they put the 4 of us in the middle, which was super comfy. We arrived in HK just after dark, so couldn't enjoy the train into HK central quite as good. Not to worry, things happen.

Yes, the A380 is a perfectly good airplane. It is an extremely modern aircraft that is very quiet. Fav flight so far. Great video 🙌

The fare can go as low as $20. I got this fare for an early morning train, by booking it 1 month in advance. And, the earliest trains to DC start from 4:20 AM. I've talked about this in the video at 00:55

If you want to do the museum tours such as the one of the holocaust and all the ones in the national mall area how many days would you need? I have watched people saying 3 days would you agree with that?

I'd say yes, because the usual museum hours are 10 - 5:30 PM which gives you 6.5 hours in a day, and considering you spend 3 hours at one, 6 museums in 3 days is possible. But that'd be a lot of cardio ;-) The prominent museums in the National Mall area are: - Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum - Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History - National Gallery of Art - United States Holocaust Memorial Museum - International Spy Museum - Smithsonian National Museum of American History - National Museum of Asian Art - National Museum of African American History and Culture

Beginning March 4, 2024, NEC coach seating will be reconfigured to only half facing direction of travel; half in reverse. Amtrak says this is to make turn around quicker and easier, but may not be well received by those who enjoy sitting at the window and watching the scenery in the direction of travel. Yes, the train is the best way to go between BOS / NYP / WAS. Just wish they would improve service rather than taking away from it. Updated rolling stock would also be well received.
