I personally use a business email for all my "business" stuff (youtube,twitch, tiktok & Facebook monetization) and then have different email I use for actually using the platforms. So yeah, I'd say it's safer for everyone to have a different "business" email, only you know. So it makes it harder to get hacked and have your money lost.

I thought I had made a video on this already, but I guess I'll have to do it soon. AS OF TWITCH'S LATEST UPDATE: you can multistream everything so long as they are the same quality streams. Ex. You can't stream to youtjbe in 1080 and stream to twitch in 720. But as long as they are the same quality visually and audio wise, you can now stream everywhere and anywhere. Hope that makes sense. I'll work on an update video for this and try to post it next week.

Did you find that previous subs to your channel get their sub badges back, or did they all reset? Say you had a viewer with a 6month sub badge, did they have to start all over again or did they pick up where they left off?

yes from my experience when i rejoined all of my previous subs had to restart as well. granted, I don't have many subs... like 3-6 so I don't have a large sub base to pull from. But they will more than likely have to restart unless twitch has updated this in the past year.

So I tried to sign up and I'm 17 and a half so I need a parent permission which I did do at that and I sign all the tax stuff under my name but when I get to the last part which is the payout I want to edit the I info to be under my parents name but it won't let me edit it at all

After you get accepted, you can go back and edit anything you need. Just get accepted and then go back to your settings to update anything you need.

@@DJNinja331 Oh, sorry I thought u said you sent it in and wanted to change the fourth step. No, you definitely need to be accepted first. Your info needs to match all the addresses and personal info you input before otherwise, it won't let you continue. So you might have to go back and input the info you actually want on the last part.

I'm a EU Citizen and this helped out a lot, even in 2024. I honestly thought they (Twitch) would be more obvious on the fact that these criteria would need to be filled if one wants to add emotes to their channel. Instead of leaving us on a page that pretty much said something along the lines of "Ooops, you were too fast, come back later or refresh the page in a few minutes". It would be helpful if they clearly stated that you have to proceed with the onboarding to do x,y,z Since I'm so small, I was not thinking about the monetary gain so I didn't bother to look for such an option, but thank you for providing clear and easy-to-follow instructions

@@NobleGuides In all honesty, I couldn't care less for the money side of things. I'm enjoying the whole process and just hanging with like-minded people. The reason for setting this up is more out of fear that I'll end up getting a letter from the state saying I haven't paid for "x, y, z" whilst I was innocently streaming. I just rather be safe than sorry. I'm not sure what your objective is but I wish you good luck with it all and I hope you're enjoying the process as much as I am

@rafaelguimaraes8363 I don't care about the money either, just a Lil cherry on top to feed my gaming habbit... gaming is so expensive, when one doesn't stick to one or two games. They are smaller because youtube uses a "shifting" banner that accounts for each device that its on. All you have to do is resize the images to fit within the banner area.

There shouldn't be a need for it now that they pushed out the update for everyone. If u don't have it yet. Check your setting and see if u can initiate an update. You should have it after that.

@ahtomi. what I meant is that the beta might be over already. If you lose access to betas or can't find them that usually means that they finished the beta and reverted you back or just pushed out an update and haven't implemented what they were testing yet.

The quest 3 is such an absolute faff to use. When setting it up I have to download an app to my fucking smart phone. Then i have to create a meta account when I already have an FB account. Then i have to install the 'Quest app' (which is still called the Occulus app) to my PC. That's before i've even got to the minefield that is trying to play PC games on my Quest 3. By the time ive actually got a game running, the battery has drained down to 60%. Now i have to create a developer account to enable developer runtime features. What a fucking joke. I'm getting ready to throw this piece of junk headset out my 4th floor window.

They may not show up on your one drive but they should still be available where u store them (like your PC or tablet)... they will only be available on your One Drive for download, unless you re-enable one drive.

You have to go into your settings like I showed and activate the beta. Once it's running it'll show under your "version" in system settings. After they are dome with the beta they usually push out an update which is a newer version of the PS version so it'll update and you'll be removed until the next beta goes out.

I did this a while back and had all kinds of issues with games launching and playing once I signed out of OneDrive. Idk exactly why but if someone does this, know it can cause issues with some games.

Sounds like your games were being downloaded to a one drive folder... I had the same issue. Before you do this, make sure you move your game folder from one drive to a folder on your local PC and you shouldn't run into those issues.
