John was a clinician at our college festival. We played an arrangement of his where I had a solo in between his solos. During dress rehearsal I got an ovation for my solo from a few audience members. John proceeded to wipe the floor with me during the concert and it was great. What can one say but laugh and just enjoy the moment.

Incredible technique and facility for a composition w/ such difficult chord changes - I just marvel at John Fedchocks brilliant mind and trombone playing - tenor sax is wonderful as well on thus super arrangement of "Caravan"

Was honored to study under him for a jazz event and concert at Bloomsburg University back in 1996...absolute legend/icon, and as I'm raising two brass musicians myself, I play them these videos and mention I played with John. "NO WAY!!!!"...love it.

If you listen to Monk Rowe's interview with Fedchock, you'll get insight into how this band is so together. Their leader is focused, but also very even-tempered and sensible

Both Johns are amazing soloists, but in my opinion Paul’s solo was best on this tune.
