Which disc? If you mean the Strive pack, yes, unfortunately, that pack has been discontinued. I suspect there will be some new packs coming soon. Often leading up to Halloween, new disc packs show up. In the meantime, you can pick up a light Strive in the Team Series (Linus Carlson) and the Orbit Ballista Pro in the Jakub Semerad Team Series would work well as your distance roller.

What is good about the Guld series is they fly straighter into a headwind. The Strive series has some built-in TURN, not as much as a Captain, so its not a 'touchy' in headwinds. Generally backhand speaking, all these particular disc series have to be looked at as a correlation between the amount of TURN right, and the amout of come-back left FADE. These stat factors are the primary ones to be concerned with. Gulds have a good TURN to FADE relationship.

Do you have any ways for a beginner to get a higher speed disc? The only way I can see to get one is the season pass and getting 3 stars on a course, which I am struggling to do.

Hi and welcome to the game! There are a lot of ways to get better discs. Check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y37Gg4d_brSUbdE To learn how to get the Three Stars on each course, follow my series: kzbin.info/aero/PLlCE5A1rJiYu2mJVR91v1V4Oy61F-JWuF Unfortunately the Strive Pack is no longer available in the Pro Shop, but there are some other distance drivers available. The Tournament pack is a good one to get started. It also opens up a extra slot in your bag. If you want to go the complete free route it is possible. It will just take a lot longer. You need to level up to about 50 before you start getting offered the latest good distance drivers. I highly recommend just purchasing some good discs. It will save you a lot of frustration as you unlock the courses and improve on the game.

I’m new and this is my best glide skip distance so far. It works well enough for me, but I’ll be upgrading to a strive when I can. I have a glide/water skip strive and that disc just never stops gliding. Gives me 500+ ft every time plus the water skip bonus

I swapped it out with my G/S Rive a few weeks ago and am happy with my decision. A few different lines I had to learn but it seems a lot more stable and easier to control the finish

I will add that I’m a lefty and liked the forehand distance I got as I tried some RH backhand lines. It’s the only dyed disc from this season that I have bagged

Hole 8 is one of the reasons that exact Recoil is still in my bag. There are about 5 holes I use that disc on. Its probably not the best disc to use on the holes I use it on but its the line I've memorized.

I think I get stuck in a rut on a lot of holes like that. There are probably better discs for som holes but I use what I know works. I find shaking things up by starting over with a new account and new discs can help.

I'm really loving this series even though I've been playing for a while now. I still bag that exact recoil because there are about 4 or 5 holes (including the one you showed) that disc is perfect for me.

I think that it was in the shop at one point. Don’t see it there any more. Keep your eye on DOTW. Right now there is a Paradigm there, just not the one you want.

I am putting with an accurate sticky Keystone mainly, but for longer putts I use a sticky extra glide hope

The term you're trying to come up with is 'Carry'. To determine carry distance, go to LS1 or LS4, putt down right next to the shore by the tee in a 1 mph right to left tailwind and then fire out left over the lake. Note the splash down distances, that is your approximate, slightly wind adjusted CARRY. The 1st generation CB DD3 is better and straighter. LS4 is The Condor hole, that's an ACE.

For hole 5 I like throwing a Hope acc sticky. Just miss the vine and you'll end up right under the basket

The cloud breaker 2022 is little more overstable than the dd3.

As a matter of fact, i believe a extra glide/ big skip captain will be farthest. I just threw mine and it lands farthest past 400 foot mark and slides to 532. With big skip it will go well beyond 600. So far that glow cloud breaker is only one i can get past 600.

By far its the glow cloud breaker. I have that disc and the others also. It goes farther no matter how I try to manipulate them. My big skip/ extra turn rive goes farther than my big skip/ extra glide rive. The ballista is good but far behind rive and cloud breaker. My captain is extra glide/light, competes with my others without having big skip. I might have to reevaluate my choices if I get one of those.

What level are you at? There are several ways that you can get one. Keep leveling up, keep an eye on the daily discs that you can get with virtual coins, it changes every day. Join events, like Hops and Hyzers for disc awards, Get the season pass for Multiplayer, and last but not least, purchase a DD with real cash. If you are opposed to putting out real cash, you could accumulate Google funds through taking surveys. If you do not have a credit or debit card or are living in a country where CC purchases are difficult, you should still be able to purchase Google or Apple prepaid cards at your local stores. Keep grinding, you’ll get there. Challenge the Valley doesn’t move you up the levels very fast. Get XP faster through the Daily and Pro Tour. Ballistas start coming at level 20, Rives at level 50. Good luck!

I am recording these on an iPad 11Pro, which is what I prefer playing on these days. I can see the basket a lot better on the larger screen. But I also play on my iPhone 13 Pro. I have no crashes with either device.
