Good to see the fix process Mark. Plants are lovely, but they come with their own set of issues. May your water level be forever constant. 👍

We need giant goldfish like these to become the mainstream market than these baby "small sized" 'feeders' the market placed them in shops for fish bowls and predator fish.

Should we use two filters if we using this including the sponge also?
@pondworksau88063 ай бұрын
Why not. Ive never over filtered a tank yet
@ColossalSwordFormAndTechniqueАй бұрын
You want 2 or 3 filters. Because you want to clean only one once every 3 or 6 weeks. Ans keep the other two uncleaned until another few more months. To keep beneficial bacteria ☝️
@pondworksau8806Ай бұрын
@@ColossalSwordFormAndTechnique The sponges are that of a pre filter and yes while they harbour beneficial bacteria the main bacteria are growing on the neutrally buoyant media. Removing and cleaning the sponge allows the main body of bacteria to remain undisturbed, therefore you can clean all of your sponges at once with no adverse effects to the water quality

awesome! how come you leave the edging of the liner exposed in the sun like that?
@pondworksau88069 ай бұрын
EPDM Rubber liner is UV stable. Further Planting is to be done and will hide this liner, It is also needed to create a barrier to stop runoff water carrying silts and other nutrient into the pond and resulting in algal blooms
