I treat all children like I would my sisters kids. i protect all kids. i wish i could help catch these people and prevent them from abusing and grooming kids. i saw the movie The Sound of Freedom and i cried. I got angry and then just sobbed. all adults are supposed to protect the vulnerable

More people need to do this! I'm getting burnt out and I feel like I'm fighting alone. Instagram and now Threads which is where most of the predators from instagram went it seems. Are horrible, I go months of documenting accounts and links to telegram and turn it into NCMEC. But I'm getting burnt out. I want to go back to enjoying my memes and laughing my ass off and sharing with friends but I think......who else is gonna do this?? It doesn't seem like it's having any effect on instagram and their side site Thread. Accounts say monitored by parent but clearly they aren't. I'm tired but seeing this and knowing that others have taken notice is comforting

Its not social media. Quality of life is diminishing and people dont understand why. Its a cycle of hopelessness and thats what is driving the suicide rates up, not a few posts on instagram

From Bark, I sought out every video or article that would safeguard their life. Thank you very much for making the videos you do.

Coming from a younger millennial; cellphones are a privilege, smartphones are a luxury. If/when my kids gets a cellphone it will be under close monitoring. The Internet is dangerous and any parent who gives a child unrestricted access to it is negligent and endangering their child, period.

This is a Great tip. I'm currently going through discussions with my 11yo to why I won't leave him home alone. He feels because other parents do it that I should. He screamed at me about trusting him. I told him that trust had nothing to do with it. I then posed the question to what a minor is. He had no idea. I am guiding him to research what it is. At the end of this experience I'm going to let him know that it's my decision because he's a minor and he can do what he wants when he's officially an adult or emancipated. I hope my experience helps other parents.
