Curious, what ever happened to this guitar project. I just ran across this vid & saw you didn't make any additional vids. How did it go?

@kitcatski thanks for the reply. I'll keep an eye out. I hope you get back into it. I'm trying to get some ideas as I want to a similar build/project on an older budget Ibby I have that's been sitting under the bed for years.

It’s definitely not a real impossible, but that’s ok yours look better than Paul Rodriguez’s. Whole point of impossible is to flip vertically
@maggotbrains116 ай бұрын
I think a lot of people wrap their impossibles more diagonally then vertically which I think looks bad. I’m glad to see a tutorial from Someone who actually knows how to do the trick well. Great video.

Hello friend, I have been following you for a while and I appreciate your work. There are a few things I want to ask you. I'm thinking of buying the beyerdynamic dt770 pro and the focusrite scarlett 2i2 4rd gen. Would it be a good choice for a bedroom guitarist like me? I can say that I am an intermediate level guitar player now. My current equipment is marshall mg10cf, jackson rrmg pro, ibanez s521 mol. I want to make such a change because the amp I use is crap. What is your suggestion?
@kitcatski7 ай бұрын
Hey! I would say that it depends on what your goals are, if you are looking to record then the Scarlett and dt770 would be a great inexpensive option. Note that you would need to invest in some sort of amp sim as well, and those can be a bit pricey. I use the archetype petrucci amp sim which is around $125 but I find it to be very versatile. This setup is also great if you need to practice without making a lot of noise. However, I got a PRS MT15 and PRS cab last year and I definitely prefer to play that over an amp sim whenever I can. Something about playing directly out of a tube amp and cab is tough to replicate with an amp sim, at least for me. But this will be loud and is definitely more expensive, so if you need to play in silence I would not recommend it. Whatever you choose will be a great upgrade over the mg10cf. One other option is the spark amps, those are relatively inexpensive and you can record directly from them into your computer and also plug headphones right into it. It also comes with a ton of great sounding amp sims. I think a spark amp with the dt770 might be your best bet, try watching some videos on it!
@zapatocny84677 ай бұрын
Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to me. It would be better for me if I don't make too much noise, so I think I will buy the Scarlett - DT 700 Pro duo, assuming you have approved it, thank you very much. I will do some research on Spark and maybe my opinion will change.@@kitcatski

I always was of the understanding that you had to wrap over the foot for it to be an impossible.... as far as I know that is what an impossible is... and I was skating since before they were invented. I remember when it was an NBD. You have impossibles on lock...super steezy...BleSsUP!

Dylan Rieder. Absolute legend and probably the best impossibler ever, not to diss Mullen, who invented it, or Ed Templeton, who brought it to the street-skating public.

@ATV_19927 ай бұрын
Good work, man, this isn't an easy solo by any means, got the notes and technical ability down which are great traits to have. However, it needs some polishing regarding to locking the notes exactly at the right tempo. Another piece of advice I could give you is to look up into the different kinds of bending, particularly pre-bends, bend releases, pre-bend releases and everything inbetween. Another thing I'd recommend is checking about staccato, it'll give you more control with your picking. Guitar virtuoso, freak and extraordinaire Anton Oparin has a great video about that from the Bohemian Rhapsody solo (which could also be a great exercise for both pre-bends and staccato altogether).

Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to check that out!!

one way to improve your videos is to watch them and count how many times you say "uh" and "umm" and then remind yourself when recording to break that habit.
