I have a 2006 Saturn Ion coupe that I am trying to do this conversion to, but there is nil information out there. Someone in the comments linked a template with no measurements. I actually had to remove my transfer AWD case on my 2011 equinox, I removed the rear one and it does fine BUT if you do this you better watch when the road has puddles of water when it rains because it will give you a stroke when it hydroplanes

My problem is the opposite conversion. I need to change a salvage awd to fwd to work in my terrain. I just got mine out and split the case. I think I need to split the second one to determine what parts differ.

Try this. When you line the batteries up in a row. Take the positive from one end and the negative from the other end. OR Have the batteries go in upper shelf parallel a battery down a shelf and back. That way positive and negative are essentially on opposite end. This should make energy run through all batteries.

Hello @williamstaten8102, I have the Realistic STA-2700 from my father and it has been a champ, it lives in my garage in the elements. Recently it stopped outputting sound to the speakers but I still saw power and heard life. I took it into my basement.. my STA-2700 sits in the garage in the elements where we have Illinois cold and heat, humidity etc lol. IT'S A CHAMP!!!! Ok, so the problem seems to be the SELECTOR. None of the outputs work (PHONO, CD/AUX, TV/AUX, VCR/AUX ) BUT... I tried hooking up my RCA cables to TAPE 1 OUT and it's working again haha!!!! LMAO. This unit will not die! Is there any way to get (PHONO, CD/AUX, TV/AUX, VCR/AUX ) outputs to work again? Any help is greatly appreciated. It's nostalgic to have such a unit and this receiver has meaning to me because it was from my father. They just don't make stuff like this anymore so solid. I also have a FLUKE voltmeter which is also old from my dad that I got working again recently!! Also I don't know what happened to the remote so would be nice to change the volume using a learning remote control or phone app etc. Thanks so much for this video, Take care Steve.

How did it work out in the end? Could I just get a full brake kit for the front and make it work for the back? New bearings, calipers, rotors, etc
