This interview single handedly made me fall in love with Kind of Blue. This is an interview I will have my daughter watch when she's a couple of years older. This is a master class in how to approach making music.

I saw and met Jeff maaany time in the 70s when he was in Boston (I think attending Berkeley College Music) He was great back then playing w a great band called Gypsy. One of my favorite guitar players

Hate the way he sang it. Doesn't sound the same.

Love this track. But it's sad that at least 3 of these Jazz greats have passed away. I am posting on August 22, 2024

Why have we lost so many great guitarists at such young ages: Chuck Loeb, Nick Collione, and Jeff Golub. It doesn’t make any sense.

I thought he was going to talk about KOB not about himself. He is Wynton Kelly's cousin and he didn't even know that and never even heard Wynton play until much later in life. He's not a jazz musician but it's OK, let him talk ABOUT jazz rather than play it.

This makes me cry. I have also listened to Toby & Waymon on Waymon's album, singing the Barry White classic "Never Gonna Give You Up" which is absolutely incredible. Toby Keith also had soul. GOD Bless you, Toby & Waymon. I picture them both singing with the angels.

R.I.P. Toby this song hits me hard i was diagnosed with throat/ Esophagus cancer due to a lifetime of severe acid reflux. I chose not to seek treatment the Good lord has spoken death is a beautiful thing it is the next step of the journey i have to take alone. Awesome reaction. God bless you and your family.
