Could you fill a kayaks hull with some sort of expanding foam so it never sinks even if punctured?

You could, but repairs and draining becomes pretty difficult. Some kayaks are designed like that though. The Hobie lynx is one of them.

A couple of summers ago, in West Virginia, I was visiting my oldest son and one of his friends had an old clothes dryer and he put 7-1/2lb of Tannerite under it and shot it from about a hundred yards. The dryer went straight up into the air, and the door off the dryer came at us like a Frisbee, about 12 feet over our heads. It went about twenty yards behind us and hit a parked pickup truck, sticking its corner into the side of the bed and staying there. That stuff is nothing to play around with. Protect yourself when using it, and don't underestimate its power.

It's only because it's a 2 part compound that isn't activated until combined. That's why things like nitroglycerine are illegal, because they aren't binary, and are extremely unsafe

i wonder how long the battery pack lasts before it needs to be charged.? any statistics on that.?

It's the classic 'up to' ten hours, but the gen 3 XL battery has more juice. they are 18.5v 42aH. thats gives you 777 watt hours. So its more than a 12v 50Ah at 600 watt hours but less than a 12v 100 aH at 1280 wwatt hours, I know thats just more numbers, but i hope that makes sense. Honestly running the battery dead sounds like a good video idea...know any one with a drone?
