I have a question . what is the no of group homomorphism Z/5Z to Z/7Z.... please please reply the answer in book is 7 but mt answer is 1.. Reason is (1st one is isomorphic to Z5 and second one is isomorphic to z 7...so no of group home organism from Z5 to z 7 is gcd(5,7)=1

if we take S=(0 1) S=(-1 0) THEN limit point 0 is exist but not belong to the set, So it is not closed and thats why it is not compact. BUT SupS=1∉S AND InfS=-1∉S.........CONclusin is S is not compact and sup and inf is also does not exist.......Reagding this option (a) should be correct na?

@@SantoshiFamily You can randomly take m,n,p any integers greater than 1 (there is no connection between them). According to this theorem, there exists a finite group G s.t. there are elements x and y in G of order 10189 and 57 respectively but their product xy is of order 169.
