The RS Pro is actually manufactured by Airmate in Taiwan and it's also the same supplier of the Asahi Electric Fan motors in the Philippines

yeah I wondering if it was this fan or a modern one so I went on eBay and I was lucky enough to find one on eBay so I got it also if you want you could try to order one out of curiosity to see if you do get this one or a modern one

@kieransfansgarbagetrucksan8552 That is very unfortunate to hear. Space seems to be a big problem with the fan collecting hobby. I would love to see more videos with the current selection of fans.

@Fanfanatic2012 Taking them apart will help with space. I do find it to be best to sell or get rid of more worse fans or fans you care about less to make room for other fans

I've always wondered with those bionaire 2 cool fans, does the extra blades and blade set allow it to move more air than other fans?

My local morrisons still got a load of 16 inch pedestals only £12. They can't seem to shift them still. Just brought one today but won't be umboxed till next summer

Brought a challenge 12 inch from Sainsbury. Not too impressed oscillation pin is lose so it can't turn off oscillation. Gonna take it back

@kieransfansgarbagetrucksan8552 it does work just didn't pull it Hard enough as feels.so loose so didn't want to pull it out. Yeah not particularly impressed either airflow decent enough but cheaply made and rattles quite abit.... but most fans now are cheaply made. Compared to the 80s 90s and even 2000s

One credit I give is the guard has clips rather than the ring. Which makes it easier to assemble and disassemble

I have the older 2020 version of this. The 2020 version is similar to the 2011 white desk fans but coloured black. Still works like new.

I had that fan from argos, Definitely would not recommend because of material and assembly, Too much plastic and you could get a better one from Tesco.

One thing I do want to mention is that it might be worth double checking the motor of that argos fan to see if it has a metal hoop around the head wire as those were a design flaw. They caused some fans to go up in flames. I have one of them branded challenge that has one of those metal hoops. Just a heads up

This fan wont move up or down like other fans..if it was on a desk and you want to point it down a bit you cant, it will move sideways but not up or down.
