@@flmclau Great news! Yes, they both do sound great and are (in my opinion) a great competitor to known brands. A friend of mine bought the 79 and it does really sound good, but we hear some distortion on 100% volume. In reality he never puts it to 100% so why am I moaning xD Thanks for responding, really appreciate that!

@@flmclau Yes, not on balanced mode. The equalizer is the issue! But it's a bit strange they didn't figure this out and balance the tones.

@@collinsnicky1202 bass mode is not very good on This new zealot series,as it cuts highs and boosts a bit upper bass,sound is way better on normal mode and doesn't distort

@@sethhunt202 of course, I noticed that with my s98,no this one is tuned differently,at 30 % is already as loud as 50% on the s98, between 20% and 40% maybe if goes a bit too fast,but nothing to complain about it

@@sethhunt202 actually s98 from 40 to 50 percent loses volume,then from 50 to 60 goes back as at 40 % and then 65 or something like that boom a lot of loudness out of nowhere

It would get lower to a certain point when you turn it up and then out of nowhere its super loud..so weird 😂 still loved the speaker although i returned it, trying to get something with a little more bass and can listen to lower volumes as well. Now i just ordered the s95, thanks for all your input! Keep up the comparison videos man! You'll get more views overtime I'm sure of it

@ do you think the H10 is better? If there’s ever a fitting comparison it will be S95 vs H10 as they are both rated 120w output but the H10 kicks the Boombox 3 and other higher rated boomboxes in terms of loudness 🤷🏾‍♂️ I’m hesitant to blind buy the S95 coz of this reason

@@flmclau no, for this price the bass technology is decent, but the speaker wheezes. Overall, Hopestar is great, give them a bigger budget and they will make a speaker the same in all parameters as JBL. Or they can make the same speaker but it will cost the same. It's all about technology and materials.

How would these hopestar be against a jbl boombox. I know in the UK the jbl boombox is twice the price as one off these hopestar speakers. Would the jbl boombox be much better than one off these speakers. Many thanks

​@edensl8759 i just got the s98 and bass does not roll off till 30hz. I was kinda shocked.mine is even defective. It has an air leak the seal is not perfect. Build quality is questionable. Might get even cleaner bass if i fix the leak. I just can believe it actually has a little sub bass. Leave it to a budget brand like zealot to have deeper bass then jbls boombox 3 which rolls off around 35hz. The problem is the zealot is weak in lower mid bass and mid bass where most bass is with music. You have to play something with sub bass to show off the potential of the S98.

@@flmclaujbl or studio none is perfect too for that outrageous prices,buy what you can afford and be happy with it,I own zealot s79 people outside without knowing always thinks it’s jbl so 🤷🏽‍♂️

Hopestar is louder and has deeper bass, especially on lower volume, Tronsmart has a very good sound too,the difference is that the bigger subwoofer in hopestar
