your scrapper will make or break this test, those scrappers that the ferro rods come with are usually functionally useless, using an HSS lathe bit and I could rip a rod, even a 1/2" or 1" diameter rod down in short order. I have used a 10"x1/2" rod for 3-4 years of heavy use using an HSS scraper and it held up well.

How much more economical choice would be to get the small ice cube trays made of silicone I’d go and get dried grass and some old scissors and snip the grass into tiny quarter inch pieces and drop them all over inside the small ice trays. I take an old candle that I’ve melted down and pour them into theice tray taking up all the air between the tiny pieces of grass. I now have fuel cubes that are essentially free because I use old candles that my wife bought because she thought she liked the smell in the store when she got home she can’t stand the smell so she wants to throw them away.

And that way you have the other blade as a more durable but less efficient backup option.

There is no mock sear in the dry firing mechanism. What the safety does when forward is catch the hammer when it falls as you pull the trigger. The hammer just falls a couple of millimeters and cannot hit the firing pin. Pressing the safety down again just pushes the hammer back into sear contact. Genius.

I am seriously, seriously impressed with your baseline and near clinical thoroughness presented here. Additionally, what you've shown was a remarkable outcome, especially FOR Frog Lube. When you look deeper, FL is a 'treatment' vs a 'CLP' as the others. FL is designed to impregnate the metal surface and provide a super slick protectant akin to what we'd be relative to call a 'teflon' type mannerism. You also APPLIED it correctly for all baselines, including FL to have it heated up FIRST. FL is non-toxic, biodegradable and plant based with NO petroleum. It's effect as you showed it here solidifies it's make up as a serious contender. The creator of FL is a previous SEAL, Mr. Larry Lasky and it shows he really knows the product and what it has to deliver. I, personally have zero affiliation with Mr. Lasky, the Frog Lube brand or any subsidiary of its product line, just a retired Vet myself wanting superior protection for my firearms. And now, a believer of FL thanks to this vid. Job well done Sir.

never buying milwaukee again, I got two tools that had trigger problems, rapid blinking lights in forward with no function, switch to reverse, it’ll function then switch to forward and it might function. And I keep seeing people selling them with a ‘trigger’ warning

Considering one of these as a backup to the backup type of deal. And sometimes, concealment of a tiny pistol is better than concealment of no pistol. I live in a VERY hot climate, so summer day wardrobe requirements often limit conealability (and comfort while concealing) so I'm tempted to get something like this.... but how much bigger is an LCP .380?? That's my dilema.

Edge geometry is what matters here. At least between the ESEE and CS. Strip that thick coating and put a keen edge profile on the Junglas and then see what happens. Good video though

And actually that COULD be real world application. What if its been raning everywhere and then snowed and thats the only dead wood you can find? Having a saber grind could actually save your life. Now that situation is very Unlikely to happen but it could. If you didnt have an axe the bk 9 would still go through

1:45 Excuse me, of course, but where did you get the power 5.5W...6W??? In fact, the maximum power of this panel is about 3.75W and under conditions of a strong voltage drop (4.2V), therefore not every power bank can accept such power from this panel, much less a smartphone. I am more than sure that many power banks and smartphones, when charging from such a panel, will not be able to receive more than 2.5W of power from it...

Great description of the safety notches. Any doctor or nurse can tell you the problems a person would have if this tiny bullet entered the lungs, pancreas, or liver. Any small pistol you have is better than the large gun you had at home.

We think alike, I prefer an axe/hatchet for splitting wood but I bring an Esee 6 or Junglas just because I want to for whatever purpose I may need it for. Idk why all these armchair Bushcrafters think batoning is the greatest thing. Good video bro 👊

A buddy of mine has an old Belgium nomad. Very sweet. He told me that it had to be taken to a gunsmith to be cleaned. I would think it can be field stripped much like a Buckmark and be cleaned but I've never seen a video on cleaning a nomad. Does anyone out there field strip their nomad for cleaning?

Upgraded from an older 18v kit. kzbin.infoUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.

I love my NAA 22lr and I also have the other one you have the Side Winder. I am sure you probably know that you can get the 22lr chamber for the Side Winder, I have both. Yes always wear hearing protection! Also as for as self protection yes a 22 will do the job in 98% or the cases! Oh and they make the 22lr in Cap and Ball which you can have sent directly to you as they are not considered a fire arm. They look and feel like your 22lr.
