What about non-imaging telescopes? Like radar radio telescopes(provides time and Doppler information instead of a image) , or one that measures polarization & phase info. Or gravitational lens type that requires some kind of transformation like used in tomography to get a image that looks like it was taken with conventional optical. (I thought of this question because I wasn't sure what you meant by non-optical until I watched the video, didn't know if you meant optical imaging or if you meant optical frequency)

Amazing video ! Special request here , would it be possible if you were able to do OCR past paper walkthroughs in depth and create a series of videos on them. Thank you!

well explained sir A projectile is a name given to a body which is given an initial velocity at an angle OTHER THAN 90 degrees and then allowed to fall under the influence of gravity. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqXUZZmFZpuBgqc

35:20 I dont understand how they have found change in wavelength and why they have used average wavelength as the wavelength at the bottom is it ok if you can explain what each of the lambdas mean in the equation maybe. Thank you
@mrturnbullsphysics3621
@mrturnbullsphysics3621 5 ай бұрын
Visualise the information as if it was a wave - you have the peak and trough of the wave. But the change in wavelength used here when you have a binary system is the ‘amplitude’ of the wave. So it is half of the max - min. Hope that makes sense.

Why are you multiplying (2 x uncertainty in d) by d itself instead of d^2 when finding uncertainty in d^2?
@mrturnbullsphysics3621
@mrturnbullsphysics3621 5 ай бұрын
To work out the percentage uncertainty in a term with a power you must the percentage uncertainty by the power term.

@@mrturnbullsphysics3621 yes, but you multiplied it by the original value of d. You multiplied (2 x 2.3) by 44 instead of 44^2. Was this an error sir?
