I was never crazy about deep house (more of a techno head), but I saw Yost once in NYC in either the late 90's or early 2000s. Was at one of the piers. My goodness, he just destroyed the dance floor, quite literally. It was a two-tiered dance floor. Yost was playing on the upper floor and they had to shut it down because the floor was shaking, on verge of collapse, because so many people were just vibing to his music. The floor was literally moving up and down. An epic memory of banging music and bodies moving that I will never forget. For deep house, he is one of the , if not THE, very best in his category.
