1. Val looks sick!!! I like the new color! 2. Nic with the rust fork scraping -- so satisfying 😂 3. It's apparent already in Part 1 how much a Herculean task this project must've been!! Good job finishing it!! Y'all are seriously so impressive with all you've done with Val over the years! Excited for the rest of series! 🤘

9:00 you guys found one of the infamous "gravel pits" 😂👌 ..theyre basically free parking for anyone. And theyre traditionally used for camping purposes. Now this is not law.. but its such a huge part of our local culture, that we even have songs about this 💪 🎶 There's all kinds of places but the place we likes to get, is up on da highways in da gravel pits🎶
@nic-bec Жыл бұрын
No way😂 thanks for explaining this, we had no idea!! That’s so cool that it’s such a large part of the culture 😊 Good to know for next time we travel to Newfoundland, and maybe next time we’ll be lucky enough to meet some locals there😂

Very nice drone footage. Do you know what the rules are in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland for overnight parking?
@nic-bec Жыл бұрын
Thank you! We always follow signage first and reference iOverlander or google. Most of the areas we’ve stayed in NS or NFLD have been pretty remote, which is always easier when trying to spend the night. From our knowledge, there are no strict rules about ‘no sleeping in your car’ or some variation of that here in NS and NFLD!

Hi! We left that open for the opportunity to run any future wiring in case we wanted to add something. We've since added some more usb charging ports and an internet cable through there, so we're happy we left those holes open for that!

Did you upholster your cab headliner? Do you happen to have a video on that or tips?
@nic-bec Жыл бұрын
Yes we did, didn't film it in detail... But we first wrapped the plywood in upholstery foam to create that "headliner" feel, and then we put fabric over top of that. We used the same spray adhesive and the staples to hold the fabric and foam on.
