I've heard what makes glute bridges effective is not the number of reps. but focusing on the squeeze at the top of each rep. Squeeze and hold for as long as you can will be more effective than quantity of reps
@mickosmile85010 ай бұрын
You're results look like you may have been activating your thigh muscles more than your glutes. I grew up doing ballet so am very familiar with activating my glutes (tucking it in). When I do the bridge challenge, I see result mostly in my butt and a little in my lower back and pelvis as well as my thighs. I do the Chloe Ting 100 alternating 30 day bridges. I'm 158cm and started at 33" and 97/bs before Covid. A few times Chloe Ting challenge months apart and increasing my protein intake from food and butt boosting supplements, now I'm at 36" and 101lbs.

I was planning on doing a laundry video in first year but I never got round to it😅 you need to get the circuit laundry app and there are 2 or 3 places on campus to wash and tumble dry your clothes xx

I know this is an older video but just want to mention to be careful with ethnic skin using this product and any exfoliating products that encourage skin cell turnover, that can especially cause over exfoliating. Glycolic acid should not sting and if it does it is a sign of a damaged skin barrier and should not be used, until healed completely, but on ethnic skin it can cause activation of melanocytes in the skin causing that pink appearance and hyperpigmentation. Please be cautious advising using this product for people with color in their skin due to this reason and for people with skin sensitivity and very fair skin with freckles and moles because this can remove them and have lightening effects as well.

Hi Liana... really nice video. Just wanted to know your personal opnion about sharing kitchen.. is it comfortable and safe? since we need to share with other students..😀 and is it possible to keep our rice cooker inside omthe bedroom.. or it should be in the kitchen. Thank you liana
@fromlianawithlove41472 жыл бұрын
hey I’m glad you enjoyed it! I didn’t actually mind sharing a kitchen between so many people, as I said in the video we were never really all cooking at the same time so it wasn’t crowded. For safety reasons I don’t know if you’re actually allowed to keep a rice cooker in your room (it’s like not being allowed to have a kettle) but I know some people do which is understandable if you don’t want other people using it or it getting broken. I kept my smoothie maker in my room!🌸

@@fromlianawithlove4147 thank you liana, nice explanation...I'm actually planning to take Msc international tourism management next year at surrey... and if you don't mind, could you please make a video about how you do the laundry, honestly I've never used a washing machine in my life 🥹 might be better if you could add some explanation about your living expenses, from food, transportation, and how the students usually do to print out their tasks, ..and some other information that is related 😊😊 again thank you so much liana

Hello Liana, Sorry for this out of context question but if a student is opting for part time job, is it easy accessing through university accommodation or would be easier to commute.
@fromlianawithlove41472 жыл бұрын
It depends where you live currently and where your job would be. Stag Hill campus is around a 20-25 minute walk to town but there are frequent buses. The train station is about a 5-7 minute walk into town if you were taking the train into Guildford. A lot of people I know do have part time jobs so I don't think it would be a problem living on campus. Hope this helps!💮

Hello Liana, I am an offer holder for a masters course from University of Surrey and I am seriouly considering to accept it. If I do, I certainly will apply for on campus accomodation(band D) but it seemed a little bit cramped to me. Any idea if there is larger rooms? Thx a lot.
@fromlianawithlove41472 жыл бұрын
hiya, although they might be the same band I have friends who are in different accommodation courts but have slightly larger rooms, for example millennium house. I’ve also heard that some of the band d rooms on Manor Park are bigger and more modern as they were more recently built. Honestly think it’s just a bit of luck. Hope this helps 😊

I love your honesty. A 2 week ab workout won't get the average person abs. Building proper muscle takes time, consistency, and dedication. More importantly, abs are made in the kitchen. I feel like too many people either starve themselves, or go on some latest craze diet or workout to get results quickly, and that's just not maintainable. People fall off the wagon after a few weeks or months. They always do. I think more people need to realize they need to focus on healthy lifestyle changes in their diet and also prioritize strength training.
@YorozuyaNeesan20102 жыл бұрын
Very nice video and a very good message at the end. I''ve just started directly working my abs this past week, 3 times a week (you need rest days to build muscle effectively), but it's more for building core strength. Like you said,sure, they're nice to see, but my main focus is building more core muscles so I can lift heavier weights on the barbell when I strength train. Aesthetics aside, if anyone is getting into strength training ever, ab workouts a few times a week will help you build a proper mind muscle connection with your core, which is ultra important to be able to fully engage when you're lifting heavy for squats, deadlifts, bench press etc.
