Hi, are the moons all 440Hz ? And is your Vast Pygmy there 440Hz? I was thinking to get Rav G Pygmy 432Hz. But now I'm thinking, if i get a Pygmy Moon in future, would they sound bad together ?

@@Timbsurffreedive These 2 are 440hz. Not sure if RAV offers 432hz moons. You could always send them a email and see if they could make one for you! But you are correct, 440hz and 432hz will sound very bad together.

My handpan sounds so tingy. Maybe it's because it's stainless steel and yours is nitride? I've tried hitting it softer and in the middle of the tone fields. Just can't get that clean sound you have. Thank you for the free videos though it's appreciated.

Stainless should not be tingy, I think the brand you mentioned is a mass produced pan from China. If that’s the case that could be a quality issue with the steel.

Hmm, I was a little concerned that might be the case. It is in tune though so at least there's that. 😔. The real downside to this is that I paid quite a bit for it as I'm Canadian and you know our dollar isn't that great. So this is my first handpan basically and given it's from one of the more prolific players out there , you know, Malte Marten. I thought I could trust buying from them. Well, I have a ways to go and it'll be good enough to learn with and then I'll get myself another. Out of curiosity what brand do you use, or what would you recommend?

The moons are very different than the vasts. IMO But the scale is still Pygmy but transposed much higher with crazy long sustain, less attack and more intense harmonic sympathetic activation.
