Great video! I’m glad you touched on crime in Mexico. I have always wanted to visit Mexico but I’ve been afraid because we have children and one with special needs and what the news tells us about Mexico is it’s incredibly dangerous. After watching many video I now believe we are missing out by not visiting.

Nice video. Good advices, and yes, if you plan to live in Mexico, it is strongly advised to learn spanish, as much as you can. Nowadays, there are tons of songs in spanish, and subtitled movies around so you can practice your spanish as much . Nonetheless, I will strongly advice to know what part of the country, and what part of the state, and what of the city you are planning to visit. Unfortunately, Mexico has changed a lot and it is not as safe to travel as it used to be. Queretaro is one of the great exemptions.

Friend... America is a continent with north, central and south. The U.S. is in North America. We are the United States of America. We do commonly use the term American to describe ourselves, and we are on the continent... But American = US Citizen is not a world wide thing. ❤

America is a continent. You live in the United States of America, a country. Mexico’s official name is Mexican United States. A US person calling themselves American sounds as weird to non US people as someone from Mexico saying they are from the United States (if they meant the Mexican ones).

I love the camaraderie and relationship that you and Kevin have together. You are definitely a dynamic team that love to explore together. I can see that you have a wonderful way of communicating with each other. And that'll make this (temporary) transition more palatable!

Lots of reasons but Mexico is just a lot less stressful than the States, overall. And the people are really really nice.

@@tiffanygregory1208many of you have made areas more expensive, you have raised the prices of products making many have to leave and mainly appropriating the beaches and believing yourselves to be an authority when you have neither permits nor pay taxes (mostly) using our country as a retreat, in mazatlan your people wanted to ban tombola and banda music, we had to go out and demonstrate because we did not want our way of life to change even if they are not that type of migrant that call themselves expats and are quite credulous in many places we are tired, not to mention those who come to visit us for THAT type of tourism that involves children, many years ago we admired the kindness to foreigners, now in states with beaches and parts of Mexico City do not expect kindness edit: sure there are good American and Canadian people who live in poor areas, pay taxes, respect our daily life as well as the noise, they don't try to do that tourism by taking pictures in poor areas for morbid but really more people have changed their perception about this kind of foreigners, at least you should take that into account

I'm nothing if not crazy. My plan is to find a home in Europe for the remainder of my days. Haven't decided exactly where. And honestly, it doesn't matter too much to me. I just want better access to all the old world beauty that exists there. It's my dream and always has been to explore ruins, castles, old villages, etc. And there is so much to experience. Can't wait. Also, if you guys are ever up for it would love to have a meetup while i'm here in Yuma. Completely understand if it's not your thing. Anyway, you guys did great in this video. Look forward to more.
