Hello fella. What netting did you use for this cage and who is the supplier please? Great result, by the way!

I would love the descriptions and sizes of the wood, brackets, netting, screws you used so I can find them online. Also, the frame looks a little wobbly, have you ended up reinforcing any of it?

I tried gardening failed last two years mostly due to insects, tried again and new plant leaves were disappearing checked in cctv noticed bird activity. Have put a net over the raised beds hopefully will also prevent insects. Anybody any risk to plants if enclosed with nets like this or benefits?

Did you experience allotment overwhelm at times? I've taken on a new plot and it's great but it was really wild with tall weeds, brambles, bindweed, mint spread everywhere when I got it plus rubbish like old baths. I've put hours into clearing it so far with some help from friends and family but sometimes I just feel overwhelmed as I'm a gardener rather than a labourer and handywoman. I am going to do the no dig method but the plot is uneven with pot holes so unfortunately I think I'll have to dig it over, level it then do the raised beds which will take me months. I can see it being a great plot but the months of work to simply get it ready to grow isn't the best. I wish councils would keep unused plots covered so people could start growing straight away.

Hi Rob, just came across your videos today as I was looking for a source of inspiration. After 2 years of waiting for a plot to become available at an allotment site near me, 2 became available just like that this week so I grabbed the opportunity and one is now mine!!!! I lost My Dad coming up to a year next month and he had a great passion for gardening which he passed onto me so I will enjoy immensely or at least try to create something special in his memory. Perhaps I should vlog it just as you have!!!!! Thank you for sharing your posts so far they've been great, although I see you've not posted since the end of last year. Get back on it son👍.

@@myallotmentlife6459 hi Robert, I got myself a small plot in March of this year, I've managed a reasonably good harvest despite having had no previous experience. Your KZbin channel was a great source of information and inspiration for me! I love being up at the allotment, wish I could spend more time there. Do you have much planned for the winter in terms of both growing and / or jobs on and changes to the plot? Look forward to the next installment!!

Hi Lee, thanks for your kind comments. I'm just happy that I can inspire someone in any way. Having an allotment is such a brilliant thing. I do have lots of plans yes. Once the shed is finished enough I can pull down the old one and clear that area for growing. Then after that I want to make some additions out the front of the new shed 🤞🏻

Well done 👍🏻 great harvest & great tidy up. Looking so much better. Productive week off… I’ve done exactly the same. Ready to hibernate & start again fresh for spring. Praying 🙏🏻 we have better weather though. It’s not been good for growing so you did well with the pumpkins 👏🏻 enjoy a rest day before you go back to work

I'll try to get up there next year as a visitor, I find it all so amazing and motivating. Thanks for your comments. I'll be back watching a lot more from now on I think. Better work/life balance is required. Hope you're keeping well. Best regards, Robert 👍🏻
