Agree about the figure 8. Also don't give up too soon! Even if they disappear they are clearly not far away and might get back on the chase.. Definitely worth 4 or 5 figure 8s before you give up. Cool video thanks for sharing!!

Yes we do around MN early season we open water cast but not up on Shield lakes. We know there there just prefer to cast structure!!

Dumb question here, but ive never used a leader. Whats the best way to attach the main braid line to a fluorocarbon leader? You tie it straight on or use some sort of swivel? Thanks!

We go straight from braid to Fluor leader. There are multiple knots that you can use for this! KZbin it and you will find the one that works best for you!!
