What a wimpy video. I have a boxster and the only two gears you need in the back roads are second and third. You can go nearly 100 miles an hour in second gear before you reach red line. Am I supposed to be impressed by your driving, you’ve got to be kidding me.

Bist du zufrieden mit den Boxster
@Beteigeuze89Ай бұрын

It’s empty wow what time was it that it’s empty
@Beteigeuze89Ай бұрын
This was on a Sunday afternoon with good weather. So actually, it was quite busy. I was just lucky with that particular lap finding myself in a nice gap. At least until Eschbach. I did two more laps that day and there was much more traffic and a lot of yellow flags. I prefer weekdays when the track is more likely to be empty.

Hi. Do you know if that resprt is very busy during Christmas. I would lime to avoid spending time in queues. Thanks
@Beteigeuze892 ай бұрын
Les Sybelles is one of my favourite skiing areas. One of the main reasons is that it is not very crowded and you almost never have to spend a lot of time in queues. However, I always spent my skiing holidays there mid/end of January so I don't know about the rest of the season and Christmas in particular neither. Even when the lower parts of Le Corbier and La Toussuire are a bit busy you can always switch to more empty areas; there is an old lift going up Grand Truc for example, which is quite empty most of the time with nice wide slopes at the top. If you have a skiing pass for the whole skiing area, be sure to check out St. Sorlin. Being a real village, it does not offer as much lodging as the main "synthetic" resorts so it tends to be more calm while it has the most beautiful slopes of them in my opinion.

Great video - can i ask what you filmed with and how you mounted it? I have attached my camera to the wind deflector but it vibrates too much at speed.
@Beteigeuze896 ай бұрын
I filmed with a GoPro Hero 9 and attached it to the wind deflector with a suction cup mount. The GoPro's software stabilization is pretty good. In order to reduce vibration in the first place, attach the mount as low as possible on the deflector. I've also thought of fitting it to the safety bar but then you would need a suitable mount and you would have to remove the wind deflector.

does this Boxster have auto-rev-match when downshifting?
@Beteigeuze89 Жыл бұрын
No, it's manual footwork. I use heel-and-toe and sometimes I just blip the throttle when there's no need for braking.
