The first and most important question must always be "do we have the right to censor speach at all". In America, the answer is no. She has used statistical techniques to identify that the herbicide glyphosate is getting into the food supply and is causing illness in humans. Glyphosate can mimic the amino acid glycine in the production of structural proteins and enzymes causing them to function poorly. An example is collagen which is a protein that forms the structure of tendons, ligaments, and shapes organs like the heart. Collagen is 33% glycine. A change in the structure of collagen could cause a loss of elasticity or integrity of connective tissues. RAND should study if there has been an additional increase in obesity because of glyphosate.
