I totally agree, Robin. Unfortunately, in a lot of cases, sound takes a back seat. Though some productions - like the new Dune, for instance, make it almost another character! So the battle isn't ENTIRELY lost. ;) Thanks for listening!

I think my favorite part is John saying how a brand needs an emotional connection FIRST (genuine, authentic, from inside/out) to a certain sound to create the most meaningful sonic logo. I agree with his "no one size fits all" concepts too. But, maybe the biggest takeaway for marketing is John saying if your product makes/has a sound component, think about owning it as trademark, sonic logo, brand sound, etc. Oh my goodness, so much more all through this episode... haha!
