*I mainly fish inshore and nearshore waters>>>**allabout.wiki/uk1r** so I can’t justify spending 500 plus on a plotter, but I will say the GPS is accurate and very simple and useful. Marking a spot is very simple and when you are running in unfamiliar areas the GPS “breadcrumbs” comes in handy when finding your way back to the ramp! The sonar is very easy to use, simple, and accurate.*

Nice. Too bad they don't allow pedestrians to ride up the Palmer chairlift too.

I just discovered these trails last week. The small tree at 0:34, me and my friends put a path on the left side of it, because I always hit it. Fun trails, going back today.

I've just followed the same setup Goop and Life seal are not available in the UK so I've used a marine silicone, i really hope it works in the same way. Its drying in my living room right now which my wife isn't over the moon about. :-)

Great vids I watched all three. I work as a custom outfitter for all things marine and I noticed that you didn't mention that when the transducer is placed into the goop it must be rolled in. Of not they tend to show random dips in the display. All in all great vids

I was wondering if a rubber grommet was better than using all that sealant where the transducer hole is?

I was about to make a reservation for here and decided to see if I could find some vids of the area and came across your yours. Are the camp spots pretty spread out here? I didn't really see anyone else or maybe it just wasn't crowded.

Ran this trail today but I started at the cemetery on browning. There is a pretty sick/fairly technical offshoot up there. Cant wait to explore this area more this weekend! Thanks for making this video, I've already watched it 3 times tonight! Do you ever go on the random branches? Are there any other long trails like this around Salem? I'm craving trails pretty bad...

I havent been down these trails in YEARS but me and my friends use to ride our bikes through them when we were younger. Theres like 4 different entrances to them but werent very noticable from the streets and one requires tresspassing ...When me and my friends were on the trails we ended up on some piece of road that basically went nowhere or connected to anything...Is that still there? Great video. Brings back alot of memories!

Excellent videos! I just watched all 3 and now I am itching to go out and get a fish finder myself. I recently purchased a Perception Pescador 12 and can't wait to get it out on the lake! Thanks for posting this, the J-hook idea was very creative, so was the use of the dry bag to store the battery. Cheers!

@BrutusBox yeah thats the trick i suppose. the downside, is the instructions never stated how to mount it in a sit in kayak. i had it in with the flat part of the transducer to the rear of the kayak, however i found that the fish it was pickin up were behind me lol. ive switched it now to have the flat part facing forward, havent tried it out yet though. ty for the quick response, these vids were great!!

BrutusBox, Thank you for sharing your kayak fishing adventures. You have some very beautiful sceneries in your area. I have always been curious about fishing the rivers of Oregon for some Steelhead on the fly or catch Sturgeons on kayak that would be awesome. Nice video well done!. TL, johnnyceviche
