Texas took over my child support and would never adjust my payments while this dude was is AG. I went through an injury on the job with Workers Compensation and applied for a review which was denied. I went through Hurricane Katrina, applied for another review which was denied. I was told that every three years I'm entitled to a review. My ex didn't ask for money in arrears but Texas, under Greg Abbott's command, took it upon themselves to take money in arrears out of my pay check after denying my review in order to make their program look like it collected so much. My ex called them and she was told that she could not stop them from collecting money in arrears. Their system is based on a set amount which takes out the same amount of money whether holidays or any other time off is incurred versus a percentage which other states operate under. I am a Desert Storm Veteran who served my country ten years and I should of been entitled to my parental rights which Child Support is used to impair my ability to come up with funds to pay the courts for what I am suppose to be entitled to. Texas is stolen land from the Mexican's and their continued Bullying and Rudeness is well documented. This guy is a straight Politician and We Americans should learn our lesson with electing Politicians like Obama versus someone from a Military background who is trained in Leadership

i've been at the menger for about 8 - 10 stays. each time in the original section of the hotel. my favorite accommodation is actually a suite that is located 2 doors down from the room with the (supposed) most paranormal activity. i have never noticed anything suspicious, but, then again, i'm never looking out for it, either. i do, however, know someone (wholeheartedly trusted) who experienced two separate enigmatic episodes during his various stays -- objects moving, apparitions, etc.

I can't believe there are no comments here! I've been going to Earl Abel's literally since I was born in 1965 but I don't live in San Antonio and I don't get back as often as I'd like, so I haven't been there in a few years. I read on another website that the restaurant had closed and I freaked out a little. It's great to see that it's still going strong, even if it isn't in the iconic old building. Here's to another 60 years, and then some!
