As an animator and me trying to animate these for my channel what is some advice that I could know about animating these kinds of figures?
@MrCampbellPrints4 күн бұрын
I wouldn't class myself as any expert on animation, but I would suggest framing the characters in cinematic angles. Brickaway is an amazing tiktoker who does great work in posing etc give him a look. Hope this helps

Was it a matter of enlarging each piece by 750% and print away the pieces? Or was there any changes done to make sure the pieces fit properly afterwards.
@andrewhofmann545325 күн бұрын
That's usually how I do it, but for good measure once you resize, each slicer usually has a tape measure/ruler, check your size constraints at various points to make sure you have good fitment.
@MrCampbellPrints25 күн бұрын
Yes it was simply scaling each piece to 750%

It took just under 2kg of pla and 1.5kg of petg but it will depend on the infill and how solid you want it I have also built this with 50% infill and to be honest it's over kill it didn't add anything, if anything it made the model to heavy to stand up on its own

That is super cool, would probably look better if u put the trim on after assembly so u could paint the whole thing at once u wouldn't have such harsh lines in the paint where the sections meet up and the paint is obviously different but then again the gap between the pieces isn't going to go away without some filler so I understand not doing that. It still looks amazing. Is there anything to hold the magazine in? It looks like that hinged bit just flops around?
@MrCampbellPrints2 ай бұрын
Some really good points, I used magnets to hold it, but once the ammo box is in, it's a snug fit, so it stays in place even without magnets,
