This video includes false statements. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John did NOT write the gospels bearing their names. None of those gospels were written until at least 100 years AFTER the crucifixion of Jesus. Those apostles of Jesus were no longer living. Nobody knows who wrote those four gospels.. And then when the Roman emperor Constantine allegedly accepted Christianity upon his death bed (doubtful), the Romans significantly revised what we call the collection of writings we call the New Testsment by incorporating various elements of their pagan mythology into the Christ story to make it more acceptable to the Roman public. You should study the New Testament's history academically rather than in a particular church to learn its true origins. Many people believe than some of the other gospels including the Gospel of Thomas should be included in the New Testament. The Romans used Christianity to control people, and this continued until the Reformation and the new protestant denominations which did not accept the corruption and many practices of Roman Catholicism.

Luke 6:38 is not talking about money. In conjunction with verse 37 it is referring to showing mercy and forgiveness to others. Read the Bible contextually and interpret it correctly.

Hello I have a question - I just stumbled across the Tewahedo Church and their tradition. I am very interested in this denomination and wish to try incorporate this belief in my life. However due to it being a mostly ethiopian church it is quite hard to find material in english, there also isn't a Tewahedo Church anywhere near where I live. I just wanted to ask if there is an official website or anything like that of the Tewahedo Church who also does provide Videos/Texts on how to live the believe. or at least some sort of internet forum. I am very attracted to the spiritual and mystic emphasis this church seems to have, the practice of recognising God in all existence. However I don't really find materials on how to live true to this. The other question is about this channel: is this just an academic channel providinh infos for interested people or are you also providing information on how to practice this faith? As I already sad, sadly I cannot find a Church anywhere near where I live. At least I am baptized (protestant) but I cannot really attend Tewahedo Mass. Thank you, God bless!
