I disagree on the signature ability change, in a game where heal is really only useful in increments of 40 and the molly only heals 60something health, I'd rather stay at 20hp and get a 3rd flash to create a favorable fight for myself or something like flashing and swinging with a teammate as opposed to healing from 20 to 80 and having to take a dry fight where my only advantage is being 2 body shot to a vandal rather than 1. That's just my view though, a flash gives you more to work with than a molly.

I like the wall change but i would alsk like to to do more damage instead of doing the heal thingy, the molly and flash is dumb as fuck, the shields is dumb but i dont really understand it so if anyone does tha would be great. But im so confused by the whole thing, i dont think phoenix neded a rework but just a slight buff

i still feel like phoenix should get a stim when ulted (along with the obvious longer wall) but this should be fine, not better than jett raze or neon, but fine regardless.

Think the Regen shield will be popular in low elo. But useless in higher elo.

It is possible, if we give Riot enough feedback, they might revert the signature change and make his Hot Hands his signature again. But maybe giving him a flash for free turns out to be stronger than expected. This is really something we need to test in order to make a full judgement on it.

Problem with healing shield IF ITS NOT FOR JUST PHEONIX: from what it seems, this heal shield will be a shield that heals after breaking when you fight an enemy. When they nerfed Reyna’s heal, it was to make her less strong in ranked. But if you healed shield and hp at the same time, then it would break ranked. Especially since it would have to be more expensive than regular heavy shield, meaning that it would only help people stomp in low elo because your money would snowball faster than the losing team and you’re getting better armor. This patch would break the game, but then again that’s only if it’s game wide. If it’s just Pheonix than it’s whatever.

oooo, switching the molly for rechargeable flashes... idk, I like having rechargeable mollies. I spam them to check corners and pull people out of the back of site. hmmmm... but with a constantly healing wall... well that changes things. You could play so much more aggressively, especially in lower elos where people don't tend to aim consistently for the head.

I dunno about this... the molly as a standard was ALWAYS why you'd pick him. Phoenixes are all about second chances... how does a crappy flash replicate that aspect? I would say the free heals after a fight for a fighting chance in your next fight is more indicative of that aspect (his molly is my preferred signature ability his flashes are sht)

ya the molly not being signature is definitely a nerf. super unfortunate. I use that to top up after getting 2 kills a lot esp on pistol.

I believe the new shield is a general agent shield buy. Its a new type being added alongside half and full armor.
