I agree that the Tactician's standard turn is mark+seize, with the signature and heroic abilities mostly being utility options to bust out when the time calls for it. Damage comes from your friends. Really enjoying these! I really enjoy diving into the mechanical side of things, and trying to find the broken combos. Do you plan on doing full tier lists at some point?

Sadly Primordial Shockwave doesn't work with Earthen Force, since it's a Melee Area, not a Melee Attack. It does work on Driving pounce though, so you still get the double stack. Corven is even more insane with the 3 targets, but I think the damage immunity 2 is too strong to ever pass up.

I like the build, but I'd actually cast Incorporealness on yourself. Damage immunity is huge for the Elementalist, since it means your persist can't drop. I don't think spellslinger is a good fit for the persist elementalist, since stacking the ward means you'll likely lose the persist abilities. I'd probably go Bloodpact for the flat damage on everything.

Yeah, Bloodpact is bonkers! Avoiding damage and hanging back is for sure the move. I still have a lot of love for Spellslinger though against the older options, as it nullifies the sting of getting caught out of position a lot, and is still a bit rewarding when you're safe!

I'm not sure War domain is a good combo with the AOE conduit build, since all of those area abilities aren't attacks and don't benefit from the prayer effect. It might be worth it just for the ritual of preparation though, giving the Shadow or Fury an extra +1 damage is massive.

Ahh! Good input! Did not realize the Attack was a keyword at the time! That does change things, but like you said, the value from Ritual of Prep is massive! Could be worth considering an alternative option. I still love it for that alone though in a Rat Fury or Multi-hit Shadow team!

100% with you on the gameplan and kits, but I think the 3 cost will want to be different for most party compostions. Since you'll be marking every turn, a heroic maneuver means you'll need to either downgrade your action, or not mark. A party with a lot of slow characters, or who really care about positioning (like a Punch the Earth Elementalist) I do think Phalanx forward is good for, but for most parties I think the utility of extra healing or the ability to daze a boss will be more useful.

I may need some more experience under my belt but I've been loving the attackless Tactician. Most turns are 2x Maneuver which still feels crazy strong, or Maneuver + Seize the Opening. The value out of just letting your dps send a buffed attack feels like it outweighs any attack I'd do until I have 5+ Ward stacks so far. Phalanx is definitely very niche, but I love it on first turns when my party is starting out of position. Have never used it outside of that but don't feel like I'm losing much value. The other big thing here for me is I've had trouble finding value in "Now!" in a team with 1 of each class. I fell in love with "This is What We Planned For!" when you have a few VP and start a fight vs a handful of enemies. Not as sure now with the Surprise nerf though! My team has also been running a Conduit and Green Elementalist on top of a lot of damage immunity races (Human/Demon) so it feels like A LOT of extra healing. I could see Inspiring Strike & Planned For being a really strong combo in a healing-light team! Sorry for the essay, hahaha. Appreciate all the feedback! Cheers!

I’m really enjoying Aisling and this build but even with my efficiency/assist/kill numbers being high I still end up with an E or D rating and it’s frustrating AF lol With Oru I’m putting up similar stats but have a few more kills and always get an S+ rating, Idk what I’m doing wrong with Aisling. Last match I played with her I had 14 kills/2 deaths/10 assists and my efficiency was 13.82 and I ended up with a D rating…

Rating system is bugged I think! Don't take it to heart! For the first week I saw nothing but S/S+ now I see all Ds with the same performance! The devs are doing their best hahaha

Yoyo! Haven't been pvp'ing since the latest changes but wasn't too excited after playing a bunch of solo AB. ACP being PvE BiS is kinda sad/PvE being spamming exo is a bit awkward. Would love to see some kinda rebalance to make the exorcism build not so dominant, and I wanna try PvP more now that it's (hopefully) not just getting globalled as you try to gap-close on targets!

You want slower wepaon for pvp not fater.. Lasher is good for pve but not pvp... the STV pvp weapon chance on hit is simply too good to pass.. you also dont cover any runes..

That set is definitely solid! This is the gear I'd run with ST loot: sixtyupgrades.com/sod/set/usNeYzJqxxSEJUoP2Yc5pn The problem I found with it though is that you lose a lot of value and it breaks the pvp 3 set (+15 stam) UNLESS you also swap out the crafted shoulders and use the really bad gloves from the ret pvp set! How does ur stamina regen almost instantly every 2 seconds???? Mine takes years to come back even if im not in combat and stand still. How does it even work

Hahaha yeah it's not explained very well. You can do non-sprint movement in combat, but no jumping/attacking or your regen timer is reset. If your stamina hits 0 the reset timer is extended also. Just playing around these is big. Pulling back and letting it tick up during combat is very nice as well. Not sure if I'm running it here but some heroes have talents that boost their regeneration. Hopefully that helps, cheers!

I feel like the suggested changes to paladins only brings them closer to retail class-design. Every1 gets a version of every utility but with different animations. I personally fear that SoD is moving away from classic and more into retail in terms of class-design. I dislike this because each class doesn´t fit into a nieche anymore. For me personally this ruins class fantasy, class immersion and to be honest, it just gets really lackluster. I think SoD went to hard with the runes. 2-3 rune-slots total would´ve been enough. Those 2-3 rune-slots should´ve just slightly added viability or "option". Paladins with crusader-strike and rebuke would´ve been enough. They shouldn´t be able to 1v1 a warrior without having to blow big defensive CDs since warriors only have dmg as their utility while paladins have healing. Do let me know if you agree with this take or not. I think it would´ve been more similar to classic era than it is now, but then again, I never asked for MAJOR changes, just minor changes to classes.

Adding anything in terms of abilities is gonna be a step towards retail I think. Very unlikely they add any original abilities not from future expansions right. Can't make everyone happy. Personally I'd like no runes and just new items/raids. Rebuke would be nice though in terms of balance hahaha.

@@PeacebladeTV I suppose I look at it like this. Class design can be either classic era with a sprinkle of wrath classic or retail with a sprinkle of classic era. I'm with you on the part where I'd much rather see new items n stuff but I don't mind 1-2 new abilities too just to make e.g. Paladins less memey. I think it's slowly moving towards the latter in terms of class design. Enjoy your content, keep it up:)

Messed with reckoning a lot and it felt very weak. Scales the hardest with gear/stam though, so will come online more towards the end of the phase. When I was trying it though (going something like this www.wowhead.com/classic/talent-calc/paladin/50350102-0532410002305), the healing and damage output were both too low, on top of having too little cc. Felt really bad. Unless you're fighting a rogue/warrior, you don't get much value for it. Being able to play conc aura with spiritual focus is nice, but the ratio of paly healing to typical damage output even makes that feel very weak. Cheers!

@@daechangsong959 I've been favoring SoM a lot, especially with a 2.0 speed 2h (more swings, more art of war procs). I think the damage comes out ahead regardless of wep speed in single target. DS is nice with a slow weapon though, and being able to do seal of justice with it for aoe stuns is very strong.

I 100% agree with the burst meta atm. It's just the wild west out there right now and gap closing even with grenades or some sort of cheap way getting to them, your gonna get NUKED, or CC'd than completely out ranged once again into another global.. I think Blizzard really needs to look into this and consider something in the meta to shake it up for the better health of pvp overall within SOD. Than again just a wish at this time.

I would say these are what they call "leveling raids" so they just give these sets to help people "level. That's what I would say. However, this is Blizzard, and this laziness is what I expect from them at level 60 too.

having Int on T2.5 isn't exactly bad, ret offheals is rough at best right now and it was miles better in OG classic when we could use more than a few flash of lights without going oom. I always enjoyed the hybrid stats of T2.5.
