The Nation could not have watched the attack on Pearl Harbor until the newsreels emerged after the attack.

A beautiful voice...a moving voice of Chaim Topol. A beautiful poem!!! It hurts to be so miserably and calously misunderstood by the world. Yiddishkeit is so vital and true. Thankyou Chaim Topol!!!

Thank you for uploading this documentary. My National History Day project, this year's theme being Rights and Responsibilities, is Andrei Sakharov and his book Progress, Peaceful Coexistence, and Intellectual Freedom. At first, it was simply Human Rights in the USSR, but as I narrowed the topic, it was obvious who rose the most fire. For the project, I have to make a documentary of sorts, and this helps tremendously with how I should format it. I never realized how passionate I would get over this great man, but he is someone I will never forget and always look up to. His underappreciation here in the US is staggeringly outrageous. I hope with my project, that I will also produce in other media by myself, will draw more recognition to this great being that had the mind and ability to make a planet-destroying bomb, but instead vied for humanity's coexistence, freedom, love, and peace. My favorite quote from him, one that I will live by: "I support the cosmological hypothesis which states that the development of the universe is repeated in its basic features an infinite number of times. In accordance with this, other civilizations, including more "successful" ones, should exist an infinite number of times on the "preceding" and the "following" pages of the Book of the Universe. Yet this should not minimize our sacred endeavors in this world of ours, where, like faint glimmers of light in the dark, we have emerged for a moment from the nothingness of dark unconsciousness of material existence. We must make good the demands of reason and create a life worthy of ourselves and of the goals we only dimly perceive.” ― Andrei Sakharov

Me and my husband always have our close friend Chaim in our hearts and minds. We were devastated to learn that Galia, his ifey, passed away in the first week of October,, 2024. Galia and Chaim were married for more than 60 years. Blessed be their memory.

The 761 Tank Battalion should be recognized do for liberating the Holocaust camps. Many soldiers returning to America faced unprovoked violence by the police and the citizens in restaurants, parks and hospitals.
