Ruby's face is honestly really beautiful in this line. And with the possibility of Shadow High coming back next year, I cried when I saw the leak. While I am excited for the idea of it coming back, I am not a very big fan of the RH Rebrand and the direction that RH is taking it in, and I am worried that MGA will make Shadow High too bright and cutesy and that it won't feel like the Shadow High that I fell in love with anymore.🖤💜😔

The Sunny and Bella in the Winter Wonderland line have brows that are too low and heavy lower eyeliner, pulling their faces down and giving them an unpleasant expression. I liked the prototype Bella but not the production dolls. Edit: also, Sunny's lips were painted too thin.

Honestly, Scarlet is such a perfect base doll and is easily one of the best SH dolls of all time, in my opinion! I literally have 2 OOTB Scarlets for restyling and a third one that I keep MIB out of respect for the Shadow High doll line. And honestly, I feel like part of the beauty of the Rainbow High Color and Create dolls is the white hair, so I never used the markers on any of mine.🖤💜

I have Renee from the Barbie Dream Besties line, and that line is honestly very promising. I first got her because she reminded me of Veronica with the purple and the pigtails. And yes, her and Veronica look amazing in each other's clothes, and they are good friends in my collection now. I am really happy that Mattel has such a good Barbie line with such good quality fashions out in stores!🖤💜

How many color and create green eye dolls do you have?

Oddly enough, I tend to separate my SH and RH dolls on my doll shelves. And my SH shelves are literally completely packed compared to my RH shelves, so I guess that having 42/49 OOTB SH dolls does take up a lot of room. The other 7/49 SH dolls are MIB. I also have only 40 RH dolls, and they have their own shelves, and I have been starting to move them into my thrifted RH house as well.🖤💜

They are incredible and gorgeous dolls really. They are on my wish list but Lola is so expensive here in Europe... Luckily Kim is kind of more common and easier to find because what a beauty she is :) For people wrapping dolls in newspaper, be it for collector or not, it doesn't work, even if it's bought for a child. It just ruins the object. For hair, I looooove the thickness of Naomi or Amaya but I enjoy thin hair too. I prefer thick because I myself gave thick puffy crazy hair lol

I have 2 of each of the Shadow High Costume Ball dolls, one OOTB and one MIB, and it is a bit disappointing to me that you are using a Demi as an eye doner because Demi is literally my personal favorite SH/RH doll after the Storm Twins. And I think that someone on Reddit actually made an eye-swapping chart that shows every doll's eye shape/eye type on Reddit or some other website (you can probably find a link for it on Reddit somewhere). I know that I have it saved to my phone camera somewhere in case I ever want to make custom dolls of the other 3 girls from the RWBY anime including a very detailed, well-researched chart that I made of possible base dolls and eye doners (I made a Weiss Schnee custom doll from the original blue-eyed Color and Create doll, and I feel tempted to make the other 3 members of Team RWBY someday). I have not bought anything from the Rebrand because it just doesn't feel like RH to me anymore, although I do want to find Ruby's slime pet sold separately secondhand to customize and repaint it into a Kitsune someday.🖤💜

I have one of the pastel purple themed Odile mermaids, and I plan to headswap her with the Made to Move Tennis Player Barbie because she has such a pretty face. And I feel like she would either look good in black or white or even pastel colors for her outfit. Or maybe even a pastel goth restyle could be a good look for her.🖤💜

Nylon hair (Rainbow High) takes dye beautifully, but saran hair does not. I have a vintage Ideal Velvet that I'd rerooted in a purplish saran about 19 years ago, and over the years, the color faded and yellowed. I tried using the Rit DyeMore and was only marginally successful; furthermore, despite my best efforts, I stained my doll. It wasn't worth the effort, IMO.
