I’ve said that if I ever became a politician, limiting light pollution would be a very big platform I would run on. I believe stars are an inspiration and breed curiosity.

i live next to a forest & field with basically zero lights (other then our outdoor lightswitch in the backyard) and the sky is almost as clear as some of these professional photos, we stargaze a lot and the milky way is very visible.

I remember the stars here when I was younger. With no major lights around, it was amazing. Now it's sad and limited 😢
