Fuel pump wasn’t working the open circuit relay was bad..

@ I have an issue where the car starts sometimes and when it does it shuts off after a few minutes. There are no check engine codes on. Is this the same issue you were having?

Maybe check your fuel pump to see if it’s working it could be going out slowly. Most the time it want show any codes for the fuel pump!

Thank you I put it on the code machine and the graph shows no deviation in the fuel pump but I guess I can try that.

Not to much you can bring your bike or you can use their bike it cost a little more. Bring your helmet wear a long sleeve shirt or jacket and high top boots 🥾 bring your insurance card and License. And when you sign up and pay you will be sent a online course test first before you go and take the driving Test.

I left it. plug in for.24 hours once I put the part in and it worked like a charm was getting the same thing at first so decided to leave it plugged for 24 hours woke up and it worked I think it just needs time to reset but working good now

Whats the top speed with the 14/33 vs the 17/45?

Well with the 17/45 it’s around 72 to 75 mph.. 14/33 I had it up to 87 mph and a much smoother ride at higher speeds I’m about to change my front sprocket to a 15 tooth and see how that works so it will be a 15/33🤔

Yeah I will share a link very soon! I want to try the 15/33 first and see how it works and then I will make a video on it and top speed. Because everyone I told they don’t believe me. They are stuck with that gearing 17/45 saying it’s the best I don’t believe so. I’m a very good mechanic I been racing BMX, motorcycles, cars most all my life. I know this gearing is the best for the Hawk 250 if you’re riding it on the road a lot and it’s still good for off road. I took this gearing from the 1980 Honda Hawk 250 street bike. 🤔

I picked up a 27.5 version of this bike and the 165mm rear shock fits mine perfectly...i wish i could find a blue 29er. Mine is grey and i paid 140$ off Facebook marketplace. Trying to find out what i need to install a tapered forkupgrade as the one it comes with is straight steer.

It’s the Nibbi 28mm I wouldn’t try to use a 30mm it would be a little too much for the Hawk motor 🤔

I am intrigued about the sprocket choices. (14/33=.424) (17/40=.425) Why not just drop the rear sprocket size? Is there an advantage to smaller sprockets, like less rolling mass?

Yeah the front 14t front and 33t rear gives the bike more acceleration in the low gears ⚙️ in the higher gears 4th and 5th the rpm will be lower so that the bike won’t be over rev at higher speeds! And if you want to get the bike to run more faster just shift it down a gear for more speed workout over rev and hurting the motor at higher rpm. I tried the 17/40 but I didn’t like it because I lost the low in power and the higher speed was okay but the rpm was going to high to get the bike up to speed 🤔

It’s definitely a good full workout machine yes you can lose weight with it depending how often you spend working on it. But I do like the challenge that the climber gives me! 😎🤘🙏

Yes I did my own assembly it’s not too bad if I remember correctly you have to put the handle bars on and front wheel and seat and pedals and the rest is already done!

Ive owned this bike for nearly a decade. I saw your video and was blown away. I decided on the powercore exhaust. After I installed the exhaust it hangs lower. I began watching videos again on how other riders mount it. Are you using the stock exhaust piping? i noticed after I installed it, it bogs down in second then throws me back when I go full throttle.

No I’m using the Powercore exhaust system but you have to use at least a 28mm carburetor with this exhaust in order for it to run properly also you have to make sure your running a big enough jet and adjust the air mixture screw. 🤔

Bike looks nice. Still have it? What size bars are those. I want to get a set of riser bars but dont know what size to get to fit the stem. 25.4mm or 31.8mm? Bikes comes in a couple days and by the specs i am gonna need a taller set.

Omg this is what’s happening with me right now i changed the icm , spark plugs , fuel pump and the coil and still it doesn’t start but now I recognize that i have no check engine light when i open the ignition i will check the ecm this might be my problem too , thank you so much for sharing this video with us

Cool check the ecm fuse first under the hood before you buy another ecm and make sure you take the part number off your old ecm so you get the correct one! 👍😎🤘

I’m not for sure on the 93 mine is a 95 but the open circuit relay it should be on the passenger side under the dash behind the glovebox or by the passenger side on the kick panel.

That’s awesome congrats ! Good thing about this Hawk they are easy to work on easy to find parts for and they are very reliable! I already put 2,400 miles on mine it’s a 2021 and so far it’s running like a champ I haven’t had any real issues with it I’m very happy with it! 😎🤘
