@@wfemp_4730 I would say that not all killing is murder. Murder is the unjustifiable killing of another person. Whereas some killing is legally justifiable, e.g. the execution of convicted murderers, or self-defense. Not sure where you're going with this, but I hope I've answered your Q.

I think mr Andrews is well aware of evolution and uses primitive in this talk in an other way. More in the line of not having the knowledge and tools we have now.
