The woman who fell in the water who junped on the boat survived
@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY13 сағат бұрын
Yeah, most of those who made it out of the ship, didn’t drown, didn’t get hit by the Lusitania’s falling lifeboats, and didn’t get attacked by sharks survived the sinking even if they didn’t make it into lifeboats.

The only reason why so much people died on the Titanic was because there’s 20 lifeboats and + the little stupid women and children line was so dumb that that’s why there are so much deaths of men on the Titanic
@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY11 күн бұрын
This video is on the Lusitania and the reasons so many people died on the Lusitania is because she sank so fast that they were only able to successfully fill and launch 6 of the Lusitania’s 48 lifeboats and the Lusitania lost power so quickly that many people got lost in darkness and elevators got stuck between decks trapping people inside. The waves were also rough, the water was infested with sharks, and a majority of the lifeboats were just detached from their ropes allowing them to fall and fatally hit people in the water.

Saltwater doesn’t prevent sinking. It just makes You more buoyant.
@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY12 күн бұрын
There’s no difference between sinking in saltwater and freshwater.
@Takashima15812 күн бұрын
@@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY True…though they say ships & boats in the Great Lakes of North America & Africa tend to be in slightly more danger because of the less favorable conditions concerning buoyancy. Salt water vessels have slightly better conditions in this regard. If only the oceans had the buoyancy of the Dead Sea but not the deadly conditions posed to wildlife from excess salinity…hence why only a handful of critters can survive there. It would probably help Ships a little bit I would think.

@@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY there definitely is, saltwater is more dense
@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY12 күн бұрын
@@PaulBorobia1619 Well, there’s no such thing as being able to sink in freshwater, but not saltwater and considering the density, saltwater actually makes things sink faster than freshwater.

Titanic didn't have enough lifeboats for all 2224 people on board, it only had 20 lifeboats for 1178 people on board and because they thought the Titanic was unsinkeble they left of a few lifeboats because it would like nicer on board. They might have been able to save more people if the staff had been better trained for cases like this, even though they took a very long time to get a lifeboat down but then still they hadn't enough lifeboats to safe everyone. The Lusitania was a totally different story, so much lifeboats for such a short time was a impossible job to do.
@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACYАй бұрын
Yeah, the Lusitania had 48 lifeboats which was enough for everyone on board, but only 6 of them were successfully filled and launched while many of the others ended up falling off the ship and fatally hitting people which made them death boats instead of lifeboats.

It’s kind of shameful that the US gov secretly shipped ordinance to the UK on this boat and many others, then turned around and blamed Germany for defending themselves. I’m not saying they were justified in sinking the ship, but we weren’t justified either with our retaliation. Innocent Americans died, and the US gov along with the German forces were dually responsible. We should have never interfered in that war.
@DANIELLE_BREANNA_LACY26 күн бұрын
Well, this is what triggered us to get involved in that war and give the Germans what they actually really needed.

For those who don't get it, The RMS Lusitania was a British ocean liner launched in 1906 by the Cunard Line. It was sunk by a German submarine in 1915 during WWI, resulting in the loss of 1,195 lives, including 128 Americans. This tragic event had significant implications during the war. Hope this helps you all. 😊

Lies lies and more lies. The United States government put a large military shipment on the Lusitania, knowing that it would be sunk for that reason, and thus have a casus belli to enter the 1WW.
