So good to see you on here again, baby. And again, as your Nr1 fan I loved all of it. It's good to see you tell the ppl that still give a shit about this channel what has been going on. You definitely should make more videos going in to more details about the car and such. Streaming is also something that would be fun to see. Looking forward to more. ♥

Completely agree... I grew up liberal, became conservative in my late 20's through my 30's and now I'm independent... I have some conservative beliefs and some liberal beliefs... been Goth since I was 15 in a small midwestern town (the only goth actually)... and online goths are so divisive... "You can't be goth if you vote for this person, you can be goth if you believe this, you can't be goth if you do that" it's such horse shit. Goth, Punk, Metal Heads, Hippies, Emos... we're all apart of the counter culture. Right now, the culture is hard core liberalism so wouldn't it be counter culture to have beliefs that move away from that ideology? I find it very hypocritical for anyone who considers themself to be part of the counter culture to gate keep like this because you're essentially become part of the establishment.. you are aligning with 1 specific political party and that isn't what the counter culture came into being for... the counter culture developed because people wanted to express themselves freely away from the traditions and values of popular culture. We wanted to find ourselves and develop our own ideology without being told who or what to vote for or think.
@S_Z55555
@S_Z55555 Ай бұрын
exactly that. They have requirements to be goth. When in reality the Goth culture is not political and it does not belong only to them. The "liberals". Most of the world today is liberal, so those who have slightly conservative views are the ones who go against the authority. funny isn't it? I don't really understand what their problem is. As long as someone is not a jerk or something, why do you decide for him how to define himself. This is not Goth values.

That is considered to be a non repairable area for patch plugs which are usually guaranteed for the life of the tire. You can use a rope plug there but that is not a guaranteed option. Its not considered a scam. They are following company policy. They should maybe have explained the situation a little better than just saying its non repairable and you need to replace the tire

I don't go to Just Tires either. Years ago I bought a set of tires there and got a flat a week later. I put the spare on and carried the tire back for my free repair and I showed them the nail in the tire. It was not in the sidewall, but they told me I would need a new tire and would have to pay for it. I left my car in the parking lot, went next door to AutoZone and bought a plug kit. I plugged the tire, re-inflated it and never had a problem with it until I needed new tires.

Perhaps I can help you out with a few soldering tips. Put flux on the part to be soldered. The purpose of solder is to help clean the joint. Do not touch the solder to the joint yet. First heat the JOINT itself. Generally speaking the joint is hot enough when the flux melts. Keeping your iron in place touch the solder to the opposite side of the joint. The heat will attract the solder into the joint. This method should help eliminate your problems with the solder not making a good solder joint on your first try. If you get any old solder or other junk on your soldering iron tip wipe it off with a damp rag. Then touch the tip with your solder and melt a little solder onto the tip. This is called 'tinning'. Tinning helps to get an even heat across your soldering tip. This is the procedure I was taught in electronics School. It has served me well over the years and hopefully will help you out also. Best of luck and keep practicing. You'll get it! 🤞

i was involved in the L.A. punk scene very early 80's and believe you me there was tons of snobbery and elitism then too. before i cut my hair it was long and i almost got my ass beat because of it at my first real punk gig. most of the people were cool or indifferent but the shithead minority were total assholes male and female and ever present. you know the type people who get off on negative empowerment and just love fucking thangs up fer others. people are tribal it's very much part of how our species has evolved and that includes gossip, judgementalness, etc. nowadays the goth scene is much more chilled and welcoming and if anybody is judgemental about how yer dressed (especially we know women love to hack on each other) people keep it to themsleves. you'll never get rid of tribalism completely but since the advent of the internet and other modern tech i'd say the goth scene probably has the least of it as far as subcultures. the guys who work security at goth clubs say goth clubs are the easiest gigs because there's never fights or any of that other crap.

While I'm not conservative and will admit that I don't agree with a lot of conservative politics, I don't think that being a conservative means that one can't be a goth. Goth is not a political ideology, it's a music-based scene and so long as you like and enjoy the music, that's really all that matters regardless of your background. That said, while I am more left-leaning in my views, I have definitely faced the backlash of the more extreme people in the scene because of my views on transgender ideology. Long story short, I don't believe in trans ideology period and as far as I'm concerned, it's a homophobic, misogynistic, and child abusing (the belief of "trans kids" and giving them irreversible puberty blockers that'll jeopardize their health) cult. But to a lot of goths within the scene, they have seemed to swallow the dogma and seem to not be open to critical thinking on that topic and if you speak out against it, you're viewed as essentially a heathen. Needless to say, after facing the backlash and getting banned in the more active online goth spaces I used to participate in, I haven't really talked to many goths (or rather alternative people in general) these days because in my experience, many of them do vehemently believe in gender ideology and I'd rather not deal with people calling me things like "phobic" and "bigot" when I know more than likely that I've done much more research and critical thinking on the subject than they have. In a way it kinda is a bummer because back then I used to be excited when I'd see alternative people IRL but these days, I don't really feel that excitement much anymore. Anyway, it's interesting and rather nice to come across a video like this of a goth who isn't as nose deep in extremely far left politics.

My girlfriend has a four wheel drive for explorer. It has never been in 4 wheel drive. I had pep boys put a set of tires on it and we bought the road hazard. She picked up a nail in a tire about 6 months later and they fixed it no problem. A couple of years later she has a tire with a slit in the dead center middle of the tread. It probably is not a good Idea to repair it. So because it is 4 wheel drive they say they can not replace 1 tire. I figured I would pay something but not buy 4 new tires. I asked them Why did I buy the road hazard. The guy tells me he has a record of fixing the last tire for free but no record of me buying the tires there or the road hazard coverage. He said it is against the corporate policy to replace 1 tire on an all wire drive vehicle even though it is a 4 wheel drive never driven in 4 wheel drive. He then tells me if I can produce the paperwork that shows the purchase he would replace 1 tire. We can not locate the paperwork but have decided to do like you said and go to a Mom and Pop shop to get a set of 4 tires. Pep boys was convenient because they are open on Sundays but I am done with them.

I used to be drawn to the Goth scene, among other things, because I thought the focus is on individual personality and NOT group identity based on things that have little to do with a person's actual character and personal values. Unfortunately, humans are tribal, and in any community the majority will be conformists and intolerant virtue signallers. So that's why I keep my "gothness" to myself and don't bother to mingle will scene people who can't tolerate political views they disagree with. I'm definitely left leaning politically but I can't stand militant, dogmatic "woke" people. These are classic bullies in disguise who think they know better, but just enjoy feeling powerful and righteous. Just as bad IMO as close-minded conservatives and religious people, the attitude and behavior is eerily similar. But these tend to be people who are superficial, lack experience, and have no personality of their own.

That is true. Instead of supporting individuality, they do the exact opposite. Everyone is told what to think and which party to vote for. I have conservative but also socially liberal views. Everything has become political for them. When in reality the goth culture is not political, it is a music based subculture. Not everyone is supposed to think and hold the same opinions as them. They miss everything Goth stands for if anything.

When you mentioned the DJs playing the same mainstream shit in every goth club, you reminded me of a bar in Raleigh, NC (I forgot the name) that presents itself as a haven for punkers, goths, and other freaks of society but play a lot of pop music out of their stereo when they don't have punk bands playing live. The worst part was they put up a written sign that says don't request any songs. I guess they need to protect their pretentiousness. So if I have to hear so much pop shit, I might as well go to a trendier nightclub where the women are far more attractive than the blue-haired, man-hating feminists.

I always thought the pretentiousness stemmed from the people being from Seattle but a friend of mine from another goth club in Seattle, although agreed with my statement, explained to me that the pretentious douches in the said goth club were transplants from California (talk about irony). And when I lived near Seattle, I never picked up the vibe that I would get attacked just for agreeing on one or two conservative beliefs, but I always picked up a vibe of hardcore feminist hypocrisy, especially in the said goth club. I mean the type of feminist hypocrisy where the women will try to convince you you're victimizing a woman but at the same time try to convince you all men need their permission just to breathe. And if a man even looks in their direction, they'll to convince that man that he's a rapist.
