This is fantastic! Remember, this was recorded in **2003**. The edge here makes it feel like a Pinkerton outtake, while it doesn't suffer from the syndrome that the rest of Raditude has (aka being recorded during the Raditude sessions)

As a teen this sounded like such a crazy story, growing up it seems so normal.

This album is pretty close to perfect and this song in particular tugs at the heartstrings especially for this old romantic.

Only 5 comments on this amazing song? When you have to bury your lifelong friend who was also your guitarist this song is just gut wrenching and tear inducing

This song is all about trying to go above to make someone feel the same way about you that you do about them. It’s an impossible paradigm and I’ve never seen it explored in such an elegant way. It’s a hard reality but life’s worth living even if things do not work out the way that we think they should.

I think this song might be perfect. Like, by the literal defintion.

Do you really want to Run away with me? Would you really like to Run away with me? I can feel very clearly But no longer see For oh, looking at the sun Waiting for you to appear Watched you getting nearer Like I knew it was in my heart 'Til the damage was already done Looking at the sun Burned my eyes out And I'm blind now I was looking for somebody That you couldn't be I was looking for somebody That you will never be I was so sure that there was Nothing wrong with me For oh, looking at the sun Waiting for you to appear Watched you getting nearer Like I knew it was in my heart 'Til the damage was already done Looking at the sun Burned my eyes out And I'm blind now...I'm blind Do you really want to Run away with me I can feel very clearly But no longer Oh, looking at the sun Waiting for you to appear Watched you getting nearer Like I knew it was in my heart 'Til the damage was already done Looking at the sun Burned my eyes out And now I'm blind Waiting for you to appear Watched you getting nearer Like I knew it was in my heart 'Til the damage was already done Looking at the sun Burned my eyes out And I'm blind now Yeah I'm blind now
