How does one accept God when you feel like you've been betrayed by Him? I've been back and forth about my religious stance for almost my whole life and I've often wondered if Christianity is right for me. I see people that are so happy with their life and the key (usually) is accepting Him.

Hey! I guess it truly depends on how you have felt betrayed by God. Personally, I find that my disappointment usually comes from people letting me down, not God. However, the foundation for any relationship is transparency and trust, if you feel that way, speak to God about it. It’s says in the word of God that He knows our thoughts & feelings (Psalm 139:1-6) and that He also knew us before we were formed in our mothers womb (Psalm 139:13-14) therefore that betrayal or disappointment you are battling with , He knows. This scripture came to me as I read your comment Hebrews 13:5-6 which says “I will never fail you, I will never abandon you”. Now I don’t know your story, nor can I give you a quick simple answer but what I do know is that the only people that have ever let me down in this world has been humans or myself (because we are not perfect!), but God, He is the reason I am here & the reason I am alive and I know that He loves you so much and that He is the only one in this whole world that will never leave you nor forsake you. He literally sent His only Son to die for you, that is how valuable you are to God (even if you don’t feel that way right now)! It may take some faith and a big leap but just reach your hand out to His, call and He will answer. I hope this makes sense, God bless you🙏🏽🌟

Good content Alana, but a suggestion if I may...when showing us things like the book you're currently into or anything else that you're filming with any writing or wording (when the camera is facing you), flipping the video/picture, so we can read it the right way round, would help greatly in being able to grasp the titles & messages... just a suggestion 😊
