I love my dogs. But there are areas they just cannot be on. My dogs go for walks, they go for potties where other dogs have pottied, they walk / run around outside... their paws are have just been everywhere! I wipe their noses, paws and booties every single time they return inside from outside. But they cannot be on the couch, tables, and DEFINITELY NOT MY KITCHEN COUNTERS. They have beds where they can be on. If it's J4 and they are freaking out over fireworks... that's one time they can be on the couch with us to feel safe from the fireworks. But we have dog covers to protect the couch. I love my dogs... but I am not oblivious to the fact that they are still animals and will never be 100% clean as they enjoy getting dirty and being where all the poop and pee from other animals are. And this is why I do not eat food made from people's homes. Their cleanliness and food safety concerns are just not the same as mine. 😂

@@hannahrobinsonnnn Anyone willing to open up their life and home to a dog or dogs understand that well. However, there are things, such as paws on the counter, that are off limits. My dogs aren't going to think you love your dog more b/c you allow yours on your counter and I don't allow them on mine. 🤯 TMYK. But, do as you please. I was just giving my thoughts. ✌️

But it’s also really not hard to wipe down the counter with disinfectant after your animal gets up there I wouldn’t judge other peoples animal teaching methods, especially if their animals are happy and kind.
