He is a great guitar player. But I recomend everybody who is interested in guitar work at high level to listen to Dick Wagner en Steve Hunter on Lou Reed's R&R Animal and Lou Reed Live . You may not like Lou Reed but try to forget that and listen to those two unreal guitar players . In almost every song there is amazing solo work between those two . There are lots of good guitar players nowadays but they don't reach the high level of Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter at that time . What I wanna say is that they are/were the best guitar players ever. There is no one who can reach the level of their playing on those two records . Here is no discussion possible if you understand guitar playing.
